• Has been designed as an Arcadia or a national sanctuary for the Malaysian living collection of plant taxonomy.
• Centre for education and research.• Develop as a tropical garden.• Covering an area of 230 acres or 93
hectares.• Currently has more than 700 species of
flowering plants, local plants as well as plants from the Asia-Pacific and Africa regions.

TYPES OF PARK AND GARDEN

1. Explorer's Trail - Located at the Visitor centre of the garden - Get an educational knowledge of the plant world before proceeding to go into the garden.
2. Palm Hill- Visit various species of palm trees
3. Sun Garden- Collection of plants that grow well in the bright sun.
4. Floral Garden- Collection of plants from Africa, America and the Asia Pacific region.
5. Lakeside- Collection of Ixora and Hibiscus- Able to see the ferns that have been said to be in existence for more than
200 million year.
