TO HAVE COMO AUXILIAR

-
7/29/2019 8476764-Verbo-to-be.pdf
7/23
I have played / He jugadoI had played /Haba jugado
espaola 'tener que'.I have to go / Tengo que ir I have to read that book/ Tengo que leer ese libro
Diferencia entre have + to + infinitivo y 'must'
You must stop smoking / Tiene que dejar de fumar (Dice elmdico)
Cuando se trata de rdenes externas impuestas, (leyes, normas, etc)o dictadas por terceros, es ms usual el empleo de 'to have to'
The doctor says I have to stop smoking /El mdico dice que tengoque dejar de fumar.
En forma negativa, 'must not' expresa una prohibicin. En cambio,'don't have' to indica que algo no es necesario, es decir, que no existeobligacin.
You mustn't listen to other people's conversations. You don't have to listen to the speech if you don't want to.
USOS DE TO HAVE

- Se usa habitualmente en modismos (frases hechas). La estructurams frecuente (no la nica) es:'to have' + 'a' + sustantivo
To have a rest / Descansar
To have a swim / NadarTo have a walk/Pasear
HAVE? O HAVE GOT...?
Algunas personas, sobre todo al sur de Inglaterra, suelen aadir 'got'(participio pasado del verbo 'to get', que no tiene traduccin en estecaso) despus de 'have', construyendo la forma negativa einterrogativa como si 'have' fuese un auxiliar.
I've got a new house (en lugar de I have a new house) / Tengo unanueva casa
Have you got a cigarette?. No, I haven't.(en lugar de Do you have a cigarette? No, I haven't).Tiene vd. un cigarrillo?. No, no lo tengo.

9/23
I've got a new car / Tengo un coche nuevoHe's got a good memory / Tiene buena memoria.
I've got to go. - Do you have to? / Tengo que irme. - De verdad(tienes que irte)?
I'm not happy with the situation, but I've got to accept it

Verbo to do
|| Yo hago || I do |||| Tu haces || You do |||| El/ella hace || He/she/it does |||| Nosotros hacemos || We do ||
-

|| Vosotros hacis || You do |||| Ellos/ellas hacen || They do ||
|| Yo hice || I did |||| Tu hiceste || You did |||| El/ella hizo || He/she/it did |||| Nosotros hicmos || We did |||| Vosotros hicisteis || You did |||| Ellos/ellas hicieron || They did ||
|| I did my job. || Yo hice mi trabajo |||| I made a cake. || Yo hice un pastel |||| What areyou doing this evening? || Qu haces esta
tarde? |||| She made that table. || Ella hizo esa mesa ||
|| I don't know that. || Yo no se eso |||| I didnt answer correctly. || No contest correctamente|||| Do you go to the cinema? || Vas al cine? |||| Didn't you see that film? || No viste esa pelcula? ||

utilizar contracciones:
|| Do not || Don't |||| Does not || Doesn't ||

|| He likes music... || ... and so do I ( = I like music too) ||

Para construir las formas negativa e interrogativa delSimple Past, necesitamos la ayuda del verbo auxiliar(to) do, esta vez con su tiempo en pasado, DID.

Did John wash the dishes yesterday evening?

Ejemplo
I have studied the present perfect simple.

They live in a big house.
Viven en una casa grandeThey have lived in a big house.

Ejemplo
We have gone to that museum already.
Ejemplo
I have not (haven't) studied the present perfect simple
tense.
No he estudiado el presente perfecto simpleHe has not (hasn't) read about the present perfect simple

Pasado perfecto

Sarah had prepared dinner when her husband gothome.

20/23
She had lost the creditcard.

Habas limpiado t la casa?
Had he brought the gifts? Haba trado l los regalos?Had she lost the creditcard?
I have not bought a newdress. Yo no he comprado un nuevovestido.You had not cleaned thehouse.
T no habas limpiado la casa.
He had not brought thegifts.
l no haba trado los regalos.
