You have been going out with someone for a while and you have both decidedthat it´s time to move in together.

You are worried about the economic situation so you think that it would be betterto rent a flat and, if the situation improves, then start thinking about findingsomething more permanent.

Among other reasons, you would rather rent first because:

- your partner is a civil servant but you are afraid that you might lose your job- renting is now cheaper than ever- if you rent you can save up a bit more- you cannot afford to buy in the city centre and you wouldn´t like to commute

You are the president of the neighbours association of an old building that needsquite a lot of renovation. To renovate it you need €250.000, a figure impossible

for the five neighbours who live there. The Town Hall has agreed to pay for 25% ofthe total cost. A mobile phone company has approached you to offer you adeal: if they can put a communications aerial in your roof, they will pay for thetotal cost of the building work plus a yearly rental fee of €500.

This will mean the end of all the building problems and a better quality of life forall the residents, as you can now install the much-needed lift. Try to convince theresidents of the benefits of this plan.
