    5. Always try your best! Using Spanish in class is important!*See Parent/Student Handbook for specifics on the student conduct code and consequences for infractions.

Class technology policy:This class adheres to the school cell phone policy. There is ZERO TOLERANCEfor the use of cell phones or other electronic devin class. This includes communicating with parents/guardians. If a parent or guardian needs to reach his or her son/daughter,please contact the FHS front desk and Lou, the secretary, will relay the message.

Students ARE PERMITTEDto use cell phones in the halls during passing time only. They are welcome to check text messages atthat time. Additionally, school is dismissed at 2:05. Students are free to use phones at that time.

Based on the school policy, any phones that are out in class will be confiscated and turned into the office.Things to be aware of in modern times:

    1. Irresponsible use of translation software will be treated as plagiarism/cheating. Looking up a specific word is fine, howevercopying whole phrases or sentences is unethical and will be handled according to the rules in the Student/ Parent handbook. Adictionary is the best way to look up one Word!2. Having a friend or relative who speaks Spanish write or edit your work does not promote learning and is also consideredunethical. I expect to evaluate your learning based on your own work, and I must be confident that assignments are completed b

    you, and you alone.

    3. No video or audio recording is permitted without the teacher's permission.

within one weekupon return of graded assignment; stays after for extra help to review difficulty on original (must be a separate from the re-take day); has completed 100% of the homework. Additionally, all re-takes must be done after school onlyon Mondaor Tuesdays. The new score will be scaled to an 85% OR you can earn half your points back, whichever will help you the most!

Additional Policies:Food and Drink: Water is welcome in class. All food and other drinks should be disposed of before entering theclassroom.
