In stand-alone mode, the MorphoAccess TM manages its own localdatabase with the Using this application a new user can be directly enroled with the terminalsensor.

The local database can be exported, encrypted by specific keys, on astandard USB key and imported on another MorphoAccess TM.

The Main Menu is divided in 4 items:

1. Base Management is dedicated to database management (creation,status).

2. User Management permits to enroll users into the terminal database.

3. Configuration allows to change the password.

4. Quit leaves the application.

A user has two fingerprints template.

This operation creates a database with ID 0. This database can contain3000 records with two biometric data fields, an ID field and, if theBiometric login is enabled, an Administrator field.

If a database already exists, all previous records are erased.

This operation allows to export the local database on a (UMS).

The database is ciphered on the media.

The database can be exported later on another MorphoAccess TM.

The database must have been created with the function.

Key capacity must not exceed 1GB.

Key must be FAT16 (FAT) formatted.

The terminal waits for a Mass Storage key insertion.

Base name must be entered.

By default base name is baseYYMMDD.

A password will ensure database ciphering on the media.

This password will be required during database importation on anotherMorphoAccess TM.

Base exportation and ciphering can last 2 minutes.

At the end of the exportation a message gives the exportation status.

This function imports a database previously exported from anotherMorphoAccess.

Key capacity must not exceed 1GB.

Key must be FAT16 (FAT) formatted and must contain a database atthe root.

The terminal waits for a Mass Storage key insertion.

The terminal browses the list of databases stored on the key.

In order to import the base the terminal requires the security codepreviously entered during database exportation phase.

Base importation will delete the current database: all records can be lost.

Base importation and deciphering can last 2 minutes.

At the end of the importation a message gives the importation status.

This menu is dedicated to enroll or un-enroll a user.

Enrolment consists in adding user fingerprints (templates) in the localdatabase.

User fingerprints are captured by the sensor, coded and stored in the localdatabase.

User identifier is the main key of the fingerprints database.

It can be numerical (for Wiegand system) or alphanumeric.

It is limited to 24 characters.

To display a letter press repeatedly the corresponding key to cycle thecharacters.

For example, to enter press three times the key. requires

cycling six times key and ).

The enro lled person may be either a simple user or an administrator.

An administrator can access to the application with a biometric

authentication.

The user name and first name can be stored.

Enrolment consists in capturing two different fingerprints (typically rightand left thumbs). Each fingerprint needs three acquisitions..

Between each fingers capture , the finger must be removed from thesensor.

The second finger must be different from the first one.

A final screen displays the enrolment result.

If templates already exist in the database, user is not enrolled.

If both fingers are identical an error is reported.

To remove a user from the local database, the administrator must enterhis identifier.

If the user does not exist, a message informs the administrator that thereis no corresponding user.

If the identifier matches, the corresponding user, his templates and hisdata (administrator parameter)) are removed from the database.

This menu allows to change the password and returns information about

the sensor and the application.
