El millor sistema de senyalització és aquell que és utilitzat indistintament per qualsevol persona. Cal aplicar els criteris de disseny per a tothom.La senyalització ha de tenir present el següents criteris:

• Informació concisa, bàsica i amb símbols senzills.• Sempre que sigui possible s’ha d’aportar informació en format visual i tàctil

(braille i macro caràcters en relleu).

• Els rètols amb senyalització braille i relleu han d’ubicar la senyalització dins la zona ergonòmica(zona d’interacció que té una persona entre el moviment del braç i la informació que es troba en elseu recorregut de forma estàtica).

• Zona ergonòmica: alçada màxima 1,75 m (per a infants 60 cm); mínima 90 cm (ambdues mesuress’han de contemplar des del terra). Fora d’aquestes dimensions no s’han d’inserir cap text en brailleni relleu.

· Cas amb fotografiaEns fixarem sempre en la quantitat de text del titular. Si el titular és llarg, la foto s'emmarcarà en formatmés horitzontal. Si el titular és curt, la foto serà més quadrada.(*) Virarem el color de la foto al colorpredominant, és a dir, al de la segona columna de la parella cromàtica que hem escollit. El virat sempre ha desobrepassar una mica la imatge.
