A letter from the Pastor My dear People at Blessed Seelos Parish:

Today is the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. We are being called to renew our faith in the Eucharist. Communion is the great reality of the Church that teaches us that God remains with us. It is the presence of Our Lord in our midst. It is the promise of the Lord that he would remain with us until the end of the world and every day. I would like to take this opportunity to make an exhortation to all of you: There is nothing as fruitful for our spiritual growth as daily Mass. I still cannot find a more efficient cause of our growth in love of God than the regular participation in the Eucharist of Jesus Christ. He knew very well what he was doing, when the night before he died, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to his disciples saying: “Take this all of you and eat, for this is my body…do this in memory of me.” Hoy es la solemnidad del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo. Estamos siendo llamados a renovar nuestra fe en la Eucaristía. La Comunión es la gran realidad que nos enseña que Dios permanece con nosotros. Es la presencia de Dios entre nosotros. Es la promesa del Señor que iba a permanecer con nosotros hasta el fin del mundo y cada día. Quisiera tomar esta oportunidad para hacerles una exhortación a todos: No hay nada tan fructífero para nuestro crecimiento espiritual como la misa diaria. No puedo pensar en una causa más eficaz para nuestro crecimiento en el amor de Dios que la participación frecuente en la Eucaristía de Jesucristo. Él sabía muy bien lo que estaba haciendo, cuando la noche antes de morir, tomo pan, lo bendijo, lo partió y se lo dio a sus discípulos diciendo: “Tomen y coman, porque esto es mi cuerpo…hagan esto en conmemoración mía.” Fr.
