PRESENTACIÓN

El Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, a través de su Oficina de Estadística

y de la Dirección General de Derechos Fundamentales y Seguridad y Salud en el

Trabajo, presenta y difunde el cuarto número del presente año 2013 “Boletín

Estadístico de Notificaciones de Accidentes de Trabajo, Incidentes Peligrosos y

Enfermedades Ocupacionales”, correspondiente al mes de abril.

Los boletines publicados son un instrumento técnico de divulgación de la estadística

nacional de notificaciones efectuadas por los empleadores y centros médicos

asistenciales a través del Sistema Informático de Notificación de Accidentes de

Trabajo, Incidentes Peligrosos y Enfermedades Ocupacionales – SAT, alojado en el

portal institucional www.trabajo.gob.pe. Consecuentemente, la revisión de la

información sistematizada por parte de los interesados, contribuirá a una mejor gestión

de la problemática de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo en el país, facilitando la

adopción de oportunas medidas preventivas y correctivas.

En los datos estadísticos del mes de abril de 2013, se pueden apreciar 1 221

notificaciones, de las cuales, el 89,84% corresponde a accidentes de trabajo, el 7,70%

a incidentes peligrosos, el 2,05% a accidentes de trabajo mortales y el 0,41% a

enfermedades ocupacionales. Por actividad económica, el mayor número de

notificaciones corresponde a Industrias Manufactureras, con el 30,30%, siguiendo en

importancia: Construcción con el 16,30% y Actividades Inmobiliarias, Empresariales y

de Alquiler con el 14,58%, entre otras.

Asimismo, según la información reportada en dicho período, las formas más comunes

en que se han ocasionado los accidentes de trabajo han sido debidas a golpes por

objetos (excepto caídas), caída de objetos y caída de personas a nivel. Cabe precisar

que en relación con el mes precedente se advierte un ligero ascenso en la cantidad de

notificaciones de accidentes de trabajo en las cuales los usuarios del SAT han

seleccionado la opción genérica "Otras Formas", siendo del caso reiterar la invocación

para que se marque la forma del accidente según las diversas opciones específicas

contenidas en el formato respectivo, utilizando la opción genérica únicamente cuando

sea el caso.

Accidentes Mortales por Región.- Para el presente mes de abril se notificaron 25 accidentes mortales, concentrándose el 44,00% en Lima Metropolitana, prosiguiendo Loreto con 28,00% y Junín (8,00%), entre otras regiones.

Accidentes de Trabajo por Región.- A nivel nacional se presentaron 1097 accidentes de trabajo en el mes de abril, de los cuales el 80,40% correspondieron a Lima Metropolitana, continuando con las regiones Callao (10,67%), Loreto (3,65%), Piura (2,55%), entre otras regiones.

Incidentes Peligrosos por Región.- Se notificaron 94 incidentes peligrosos, de los cuales el 56,38% correspondieron a Lima Metropolitana, seguido de La Libertad con 11,70%, Arequipa (8,51%), entre otras regiones.

Enfermedades Ocupacionales por Región.- En el mes de abril se diagnosticaron 5 casos de enfermedades ocupacionales, las cuales correspondieron a las regiones de Cusco y Ancash con (40,00%) en cada región y Lima Metropolitana (20,00%).

Notificaciones Según Actividad Económica.- De un total de 1221 notificaciones, se observa que el 89,84% corresponden a accidentes

de trabajo, seguido en orden decreciente por incidentes peligrosos (7,70%), accidentes mortales (2,05%) y, finalmente, enfermedades

ocupacionales (0,41%). Por otra parte, analizando las notificaciones según actividad económica el 30,30% corresponde a Industrias

Manufactureras, siguiendo en importancia la Construcción (16,30%); Actividades Inmobiliarias, Empresariales y de Alquiler (14,58%);

Explotación de Minas y Canteras (13,51%); entre otras actividades económicas.

Notificaciones, Según Categoría Ocupacional.- De las 1127 notificaciones que se presentaron en el mes de abril, 349

correspondieron a la categoría ocupacional operario, de las cuales 344 fueron accidentes de trabajo, 3 accidentes mortales y

2 enfermedades ocupacionales; asimismo, 120 correspondieron a obreros, de los cuales 109 sufrieron accidentes de trabajo,

9 accidentes mortales y 2 enfermedades ocupacionales; siguiendo en importancia los empleados con 103 notificaciones

siendo 91 accidentes de trabajo, 11 accidentes mortales y 1 enfermedad ocupacional.

Accidentes de Trabajo por Sexo.- En el mes de abril se presentaron 1097 notificaciones de accidentes de trabajo de los cuales

984 corresponden al sexo masculino y 113 al femenino observándose que los trabajadores de sexo masculino sufren mayor

número de accidentes de trabajo que las del sexo femenino. Por otra parte, se puede apreciar que se ha presentado un descenso

en el número de notificaciones de accidentes de trabajo respecto al mes anterior.

Equipos en General (67); Escalera (37) notificaciones; entre otros. Cabe señalar, que existe un alto número de notificaciones en las cuales los

Accidentes de Trabajo, Según Parte del Cuerpo Lesionada.- De las 1097 notificaciones de accidentes de trabajo, 984

correspondieron al sexo masculino y 113 al femenino. Las partes del cuerpo lesionadas en su mayor número fueron ojos (con inclusión

de los párpados, la órbita y el nervio óptico) con un 16,86%, seguido de dedos de la mano con 16,50%, entre otras partes del cuerpo.

actividades económicas que reportaron el mayor número de notificaciones de accidentes mortales fueron

Explotación de Minas y Canteras (64,00%); seguido de Actividades Inmobiliarias, Empresariales y de

Alquiler (16,00%); Otras Actividades Serv. Comunitarios, Sociales y Personales con (12,00%); entre otras

actividades. Así mismo las formas de accidente reportadas han sido las siguientes, con (4)

notificaciones: Derrumbes o Desplomes de Instalaciones, Choque de Vehículos con (3), Explosión o

Implosión y Golpes por Objetos con (2) en cada forma, entre otras formas.

Enfermedades Ocupacionales por Meses de Certificación Médica Reportada.- Las certificaciones médicas reportadas en el mes de

abril fueron (12), presentándose un aumento respecto al mes anterior. Por otra parte, hasta el mes de abril del año 2013 se han notificado un

total de 27 certificaciones médicas de enfermedades ocupacionales todas del sexo masculino.

Enfermedades Ocupacionales, Según Tipo de Enfermedad.- Se notificaron 5 enfermedades ocupacionales de las cuales todas

corresponden al sexo masculino. Según el tipo de enfermedad, la mayor cantidad las presentas Leishmanía Donavani Trópica y Lumbago con

40% cada una.
