The CDS organises seminars, workshops and courses forthe registered doctoral candidates in the following fields:

? Is the participation in the CDS programme obligatory?

The participation is stipulated in the Doctorate Regulationsas required but not compulsary.

? Does the CDS award credits for the attendance inseminars/workshops/courses?

No, participants get a certificate of attendance.

? Can I also attend soft skills seminars offered by other institutionsthan CDS?

There is no obligation to gain knowledge at CDS seminars

? Is it compulsory to attend certain seminars and/ora certain number of seminar days?

You are not obliged to do so, but you should arrange your schedulewith your faculty and with your supervisor!
