ALL SAINTS AND THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED

First of all, this week we will have the Solemnity of All Saints. From baptism we have received the call to holiness and to live according to what Jesus proposes. Pope Francis tells us that "Holiness is living the mysteries of the life of Christ, 'dying and rising constantly with him,' and reproducing in his own existence different aspects of Jesus' earthly life: his closeness to the last, his poverty and other manifestations of his surrender for love. 'Allow the Holy Spirit to forge in you that personal mystery that reflects Jesus Christ in today's world, "in the mission of building the kingdom of love, justice and universal peace." In a second moment we will celebrate our loved ones "who fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection". Since the begin-ning, The Tradition of the Church has always exhorted us to pray for the deceased. The importance of our prayer for the re-pose of their souls is founded in the communion of the Mystical Body. Therefore, the Church recommends a visit to the cemeter-ies, the care of the tombs and the suffrages as a testimony of trusting hope, despite the pain of separation from one's loved ones.

TODOS LOS SANTOS Y FIELES DIFUNTOS En primer lugar, esta semana tendremos la celebración de Todos Los Santos. Desde el bautismo hemos reci-bido la llamada a la santidad y a vivir de acuerdo a lo que nos propone Jesús.

El Papa Francisco nos dice que "La santidad es vivir los misterios de la vida de Cristo, 'morir y resucitar constante-mente con él,' y reproducir en la propia existencia distintos aspectos de la vida terrena de Jesús: su cercanía a los últi-mos, su pobreza y otras manifestaciones de su entrega por amor. 'Permite al Espíritu Santo que forje en ti ese misterio personal que refleje a Jesucristo en el mundo de hoy,” en la misión de construir el reino de amor, justicia y paz univer-sal." En un segundo momento celebraremos a nuestro seres queridos que se nos han adelantado. La tradición de la Igle-sia ha exhortado siempre a orar por los difuntos. El funda-mento de la oración de sufragio se encuentra en la comu-nión del Cuerpo místico. Por lo tanto, la Iglesia recomienda la visita a los cementerios, el cuidado de las tumbas y los sufragios como testimonio de esperanza confiada, a pesar del dolor por la separación de los propios seres queridos.
