Procesamiento Auditivo Central PA(C)
El PA(C) es la EFICACIAEFICACIA y
EFICIENCIAEFICIENCIA con la que el SNC
emplea la información auditiva.
El PA(C) es el (1) procesamiento
perceptual de la información
auditiva en el SNC (2) la actividad
neurobiológica subyacente y (3)
la actividad electrofisiológica
provocada mediante potenciales
evocados auditivos.

Los Trastornos de las Funciones
Auditivas Centrales (TFAC) resultan
de un déficit en el procesamiento
sensorial que afecta a la escucha, la
comprensión del habla y el
aprendizaje.
Estos déficit son producto de la
incapacidad o falta de habilidad para
atender, discriminar, reconocer o
comprender la información de origen
auditivo.

• Dificultad en seguir instrucciones verbales.
• Ecolalia.
• Repetición frecuente de las particulas ¿qué? Y ¿eh? durante las conversaciones.
• Dificultades en la discriminación del habla especialmente en entornos ruidosos.
• Déficits atencionesl / hiperactividad.
• Habla poco clara
• Dificultades en la memorización de nombres y lugares.
• Dificultades en la repetición de palabras y números secuencialmente.
• Retrasos del habla o del lenguaje.

TEST DE ESCUCHA DICÓTICA:TEST DE ESCUCHA DICÓTICA:
• Atención Dirigida (Respuesta Dirigida): Evalúa los factores auditivos/estructurales derivados de la anatomía de las vías auditivas.
• Atención Dividida (Respuesta Libre): Evalúa los factores de la tarea/cognitivos derivados de las demandas sobre el procesamiento auditivo como memoria y velocidad de procesamiento mental.

TEST DE NÚMEROS TEST DE NÚMEROS DICÓTICOSDICÓTICOS
1. Es una prueba relativamente resistente a los efectos de la hipoacusia coclear.
2. Posee una alta fiabilidad inter-test tanto en jovenes como en adultos.
3. Al emplear números la facilidad de acceso al léxico no está mediatizado por factores como el aprendizaje, cultura o inteligencia del participante.
4. Es un test perfecto como screening del TPA(C) ya que es rápido y fácil para el paciente.
5. Tiene una alta sensibilidad para detectar lesiones corticales y/o interhemisféricas.
