6. Installation6.2 Definingthedriveroll

The right drive roll must be selected for each wire diameter. A wire electrode with a diameter of 1 mm requires a drive roll that is designed for a diameter of 1 mm.

In addition, the drive rolls differ in their design for steel wire electrodes and aluminum wire electrodes.

To select the right drive roll, please look at the replacement parts and wearing parts lists for wire feeders.

Identificationofthedriveroll

The drive rolls are marked on the face side with the corresponding wire diameter:

Example: Steel wire

6. Inbetriebnahme6.2 Antriebsrolle bestimmen

¡Lleve siempre gafas o viseras protec-toras!

INFO

¡Emplee solo componentes y piezas de repuesto originales de DINSE !

7. Maintenance and repair7.1 Notes on maintenance of the

wire feeder

The use of high-quality components ensures that the wire feeder is largely maintenance-free. To ensure trouble-free operation, we recom-mend carrying out regular inspections. The frequency of the individual inspections and maintenance tasks depends on the conditions under which the drive unit is used. Each user should therefore prepare his own maintenance schedule.

Make absolutely sure to pull the power plug before any inspection or maintenance work!

Ensure that no one switches on the power supply during maintenance!Remove the compact plug and, if appli-cable, the control wire plug of the set from the power supply!

WARNING!

Risk of eye injuries from flying chips, wire electrodeabrasion and weld spatters when blowing out the drive unit with compressed air!

Always wear safety goggles or a visor.

To ensure perfect functioning, the following tasks must be performed at regular intervals:

● General visual inspection of the wire feeder for damages and signs of wear.

● Inspection of the drive rollers for wear. Replacement of the drive rollers, as required.

● Check that all removable connections are fitted correctly.

● Remove material abrasions to the wire (depending on the wire quality and the feed rate) by blowing out the housing with compressed air (max. 6 bar).

● Keep the terminals of the wire feeder, drive rollers and pressure bracket clean at all times. Dirty connections lead to contact problems, and the wire feeder can then not work properly.

● Protect the supply hoses against excessive-bending stress to increase their service life.

INFO

Use only original components and spare parts from DINSE.

7. Wartung und Reparatur7.1 Hinweise zur Wartung des

Drahtvorschubs
