The first: Communication is a very important branch in our daily practice We have many new systems to communicate with the patients in very short time and simple way to have a preview with a direct and indirect system. The second: The basics of the preparation phase for crowns and for laminate veneers Preparation at greater magnification concerning precision and aesthetics. In the last years the field of working of stereomicroscope is enlarged to the different fields of Dentistry and in Laboratory. We use the stereomicroscope in our practice and in laboratory since the eighties (1988). Mega magnification is very important and fundamental in the different steps of fixed prosthesis. In fact, the possibility of analysis at the greater magnification allows the control of the correctness of all the steps of the different prosthetic phases. The phase of preparation for crowns and for laminate veneers and marginal placing, must come in the correct relation with marginal soft tissues and the use of microscope allows to obtain a marginal finishing line more regular and with a bigger detail; furthermore, the use of the stereomicroscope in finishing phases allows us to use sonic oscillating instruments. Precision, function and aesthetics are the main aims of prosthetic dentistry. Furthermore myy lecture will be about the precision in all kind of restoration materials Indeed in this presentation I will discuss the concepts of precision and aesthetics pertinent to a full spectrum of restoration type and materials. I’ll explain the methods used to produce good marginal integrity that could be adopted for all-ceramic restorations and laminate veneers. I’ll show to the students my opinion about the most important steps in the preparation of the tooth with rotating and non rotating instruments hands-on objective: is to learn how create a precision finishing line design for crowns and laminate veneers in all different cases and to learn how to perform instrumentations for the success of tooth preparation regarding crowns, laminate and additional veneers with the use of the micro. Dr. Domenico Massironi Dr. Domenico Massironi born in Melegnano (Milan) Italy. Dr. Domenico Massironi graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia and specialized in Dentistry at the same University with honours. He has held numerous courses and congresses both nationally and internationally. Diplomate of ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists), Active Member of EAED (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry), Member Emeritus Amici di Brugg , Founder CAD CAM Academy and Member of AARD (American Academy of Restorative Dentistry). He has a member of the editorial board of IJED (The International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry) and MICRO (the International Journal of Micro Dentistry). He has been publishing and lecturing extensively worldwide in fixed prosthodontics and innovative treatment modalities in preparation teeth phase and esthetic dentistry, in the fields of dental implant therapy, before prominent university faculties, national and international dental academies, and professional institutions, for which he has gained widespread recognition internationally. 牙科工作環境的品質是影響牙醫師工作生涯長短相當重要的原因之一。其中牙科噪
音帶來的影響更是不容小覷。許多文獻指出牙科工作者工作超過十年後聽力受損的比例
遠高於同年齡的一般族群。另外牙科環境中產生的噪音也是讓許多人對牙科治療聞之生
怯的主因。這次報告將整理研究團隊多年來進行牙科噪音所引起的生理及心裡影響相關
結果，並針對聽力損傷風險提出改善方式和建議。

近年來牙科治療對於細節的追求不遺餘力，有別於以往顯微鏡僅用在根管治療上，現
在利用顯微鏡放大與光照的優勢，可以讓我們日常的臨床工作更加細緻，更輕鬆達成治療
目標。

過去，在臨床上遇到牙塉嚴重萎縮、身體狀況不好，無法接受較侵入性手術的病人
時，植體的介入就相對比較困難，尤其在全口無牙病人身上，病人必須將就使用本身牙塉
條件所製作出來的全口活動義齒，對於假牙的滿意度上是較不佳的。而迷你植體在臨床上
的運用越來越廣泛，因其直徑較小，毋須大規模的補骨手術，也為這一類病人提供了另外
一個治療方式。但直徑過小的植體，其強度以及耐用度上，大家都會對它先打個問號。此
次演講便會對迷你植體的強度、斷裂、植入時需注意的事項，以及在全口無牙患者上臨床
的運用，做一個回顧探討及臨床案例分享。

缺牙對患者而言是極不愉快的經驗，醫師在面對全口或局部缺牙患者的治療時，即使在牙科植體
的日益普遍下，活動義齒在贋復治療計畫的選擇上，依然是不可缺乏且重要的考量，30多年的臨床經
驗與心得發現，本人認為在高齡者的患者的治療考量上，活動義齒具有非侵入性、可回復性與可預測
性的多項優點，然而我們卻只放大其不方便性的缺點，當然活動義齒的治療也並非容易上手，其中如
何成功且有效地完成活動義齒的治療，其細節與訣竅也非三言兩語可以描述清楚的，希望藉這次的演
講與大家分享我個人多年來的心得。當然，近年來，許多的新式材料、技術與治療觀念不斷地被發展
與應用於活義齒的製作，這些發展包括：植體支撐/固位活動義齒、植體復連體、印膜材料、義齒基底
材料與臨床技術。未來，快速掃描軟硬組織、快速成形(rapid prototyping, RP)與電腦輔助設計/電腦輔助
製造技術(CAD/CAM)也開始發展使得義齒的製作更有效率與精準，將來，活動義齒的醫療仍然需要研
究者、教育者與臨床醫師一起發展新的觀點與技術以增進缺牙患者的生活品質。

人工植牙治療已是大眾普及的治療選項之一，相較於固定式人工植體贋復方式，活動
式植體覆蓋式義齒提供了一個更經濟的選擇，且對於骨質缺損較多的部分病例，植體覆蓋
式義齒提供了避免大範圍補骨而能以植體補助提供義齒固持及穩定的機會，大大提升了病
人對於全口或活動假牙的佩戴舒適感及功能性，本次報告針對植體覆蓋式義齒從初期診斷
至義齒完成需要注意的事項作一廣泛性的探討並提供相關病例分享。0900-0945 牙科噪音
