TRABAJO.El excelente nivel de calidad con el que cuentan todos los productos elaborados por ROBUSTA® ha hecho posible que la empresa obtenga los certificados ISO 9001:2000 e ISO 14001:2004. Este certificado se convierte en un reconocimiento de la madurez y eficacia del Sistema de Calidad de Robusta® y confirma la voluntad de desarrollo en una línea de progreso continuo y de dar cada día una respuesta más precisa a las expectativas de los clientes. Este progreso se refuerza en el año 2008 con la obtención del certificado OSHAS 18001:2007 por el que se reconoce el plan de Seguridad y Prevención de Riesgos Laborales implantado en ROBUSTA®.

These certificates become a recognition of the maturity and efficiency of the Robusta® Quality System and confirm the will of development in a continuous progress way providing day by day a more accurate response to fulfill our customers expectations.This progress is reinforced in 2008 by obtaining OHSAS 18001:2007, a certificate that acknowledge the Occupational Health and Safety Management System implanted in Robusta®.

Este catálogo de productos ROBUSTA® pretende ser, a su vez, una guía útil dirigida a los responsables de compras, seguridad, prevención de riesgos laborales e higiene para que elijan adecuadamente el calzado que mejor se adapte a las necesidades de los trabajadores bajo el marco legislativo europeo y según los diferentes puestos de trabajo de su empresa. Analizamos diversos niveles de protección según riesgos laborales indicando además el modelo adecuado a cada sector. Para una correcta elección también presentamos desarrollos exclusivos y avances técnicos que se adaptan a las particularidades de cada trabajador, puesto y sector.

This ROBUSTA® catalogue is intended to be a useful guide aimed to the personnel responsible for the purchasing of safety footwear, prevention of occupational hazards and proper hygiene, in order to choose footwear that will be more suitable for the needs of the workers within the workplace, specified within the European Legislation Framework. We analyze a number of different levels of protection for occupational hazards, thereby advising the appropriate model for each particular type of work. To ensure Robusta offers the correct protection, we can provide exclusive bespoke footwear developments with our technical expertise, to ensure the footwear is tailored to the peculiarities of each worker.

COMPROMISO MEDIOAMBIENTAL.ECODISEÑO.Continuando con nuestra política de respeto al medioambiente que iniciamos con la implantación de la norma ISO 14001:2007, conscientes de los nuevos retos que nuestra empresa tiene que afrontar y con el objetivo de aportar valor añadido a nuestros productos, el Centro Tecnológico del Calzado de La Rioja lanzó junto con ROBUSTA®, en el año 2009, un proyecto sobre ECODISEÑO cuyo objetivo es facilitar la incorporación de criterios medioambientales en el diseño y desarrollo del calzado. Para desarrollar este proyecto con calzado de seguridad y uso profesional se eligió a ROBUSTA®

por su importante concienciación en políticas de compromiso medioambiental y capacidad innovadora.

El proyecto presenta una serie de ventajas inherentes en la nueva política de desarrollo de productos entendidas por la Dirección, Departamento de I+D+i y Diseño de ROBUSTA®. • Producto más responsable con el medio ambiente.• Reducción de costes de fabricación gracias a la optimización de procesos.• Optimización de los recursos disponibles.• Incremento de la calidad del producto final.• Refuerzo de la imagen del producto y de la marca.

Y unos objetivos que buscan,• Obtener productos que a lo largo de su ciclo de vida tengan el menor impacto posible en el medio.• Transmitir la visión estratégica del Ecodiseño como un factor de competitividad e innovación.• Conocer todos los aspectos ambientales que puedan generarse en nuestra empresa.• Recopilar mejoras e incorporar criterios medioambientales en el diseño y desarrollo de nuestro calzado que reduzcan el impacto final.

MÉTODO.El método aplicado por ROBUSTA® considera los impactos medioambientales en todas las etapas del proceso de diseño y desarrollo de productos, para lograr productos que generen el mínimo impacto medioambiental posible a lo largo de todo su ciclo de vida. (UNE 14040 - UNE 150301:2003).

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT.ECODESIGN.Continuing with our policy of respect for the establishment of ISO 14001:2007, aware of the new challenges that our companies have to deal with and the aim of add value to our products, the Centre for Footwear Technology from La Rioja launched with ROBUSTA®, in 2009, a project about eco-design requirements designed to facilitate the incorporation of environmental criteria in the design and development of footwear. To develop this project with safety shoes and professional use ROBUSTA® was chosen owing to his important political awareness of environmental commitment and innovative capacity.

The project presents a number of advantages inherent in new product development policy understood by ROBUSTA® management, R+D+I Department and design department.• Product more responsible with the environment.• Reduced manufacturing costs through optimization processes . • Optimization of the available resources.• Increase the quality product.• Reinforcement of the product image and brand.

And objectives looking for,• Get products that throughout their life cycle have the minimum impact on the environment.• Pass on the strategic vision of Ecodesign as a competitiveness and innovation factor.• Know all environmental aspects that may arise in our company.• Collect and include environmental improvements related to the design and development of our footwear to reduce the final impact.

UN PASO PARA LA CIENCIA.MECENAZGO CIENTÍFICO.Calzados Robusta muestra su fiel compromiso con la ciencia y el progreso a través de patrocinios con entidades sin ánimo de lucro y con alto valor en divulgación del conocimiento. Un compromiso que se ha convertido en la seña de identidad de la firma, como indica su lema Scientific Footwear, y que se refleja en su apuesta personal por la Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación y el mecenazgo científico.En este sentido, además de su patrocinio con la Fundación Atapuerca, Robusta ha desarrollado un calzado especial para la expedición internacional Hesperia a la Antártida y colabora habitualmente con el Museo de Ciencias Naturales de Arnedo, donde se ubica ROBUSTA®.

PROVEEDOR OFICIAL.Calzados Robusta colabora con la Fundación Atapuerca desde 2006 tras la firma de un acuerdo por el cual se desarrollaron modelos especialmente diseñados para los arqueólogos de este yacimiento, convirtiéndose desde entonces en proveedor oficial de la Fundación. Calzado en piel vacuna y color desierto, cómodo y ligero, para el desempeño diario de un meticuloso trabajo en simas y grutas como Sima de los Huesos, la Sima de los Elefantes o la Gran Dolina, donde se encontraron restos del homínido más antiguo de Europa (800.000 años) denominado el Homo Antecessor.

Además cada año se dona una cantidad de dinero que se destina a las labores de investigación que desarrolla la Fundación en la Sierra de Atapuerca (Burgos) sobre el estudio del origen de los primeros homínidos europeos.

In addition, every year an amount of money is donated to the Foundation. El calzado ESD fabricado por Calzados Robusta, SL ha sido diseñado teniendo en cuenta los requisitos de la norma EN 61340 sobre la fabricación de artículos electrónicos sensibles a las descargas electrostáticas. En muchos casos se emplean elementos tales como muñequeras u otros objetos para proporcionar una unión entre la piel de la persona y una conexión a tierra. Pero una manera de proporcionar una conexión a tierra para un trabajador es a través de sus pies mientras está de pie o caminando sobre la superficie de un suelo definido o especificado adecuadamente para el control electrostático.

DESCARGA ELECTROSTÁTICA (ESD) Es la transferencia de carga electrostática entre dos cuerpos de tensiones electrostáticas distintas debido al contacto o a la inducción mediante un campo electrostático. Es decir, todas las personas, con el movimiento, generamos energía electrostática que puede descargarse y perjudicar a determinados productos con los que estemos en contacto si no es descargada de nuestro cuerpo a la tierra. COMPONENTE SENSIBLE A LA DESCARGA ELECTROSTÁTICA (ESDS) Es aquel componente electrónico, circuito integrado o conjunto que puede ser dañado por un campo electrostático o por una descarga electrostática producida durante su manipulación habitual, ensayo o transporte.

ÁREA PROTEGIDA FRENTE A LAS DESCARGAS ELECTROSTÁTICAS (EPA) Es el área en la que los componentes sensibles ESDS pueden ser manipulados con un riesgo mínimo de degradación como resultado de una descarga electrostática o campo electrostático. Es decir, una instalación adecuada para que las descargas se produzcan a tierra. CALZADO DISIPATIVO ELECTROSTÁTICO (ESD) Es el calzado ensayado mediante el método descrito en la norma EN 61340 con una resistencia eléctrica desde un área EPA hasta el usuario entre 1*105 Ω y 1*108 Ω. Cuando se utiliza la combinación calzado suelo como principal medio de conexión a tierra del personal, la resistencia de dicha combinación debe ser establecida por el responsable en la empresa de ESD, y se recomienda que se encuentre entre 7,5*105 Ω y 3,5*107 Ω. De acuerdo con las normas EN ISO 20345:2007 y siguientes, se consideran conductores a los materiales con una resistencia eléctrica hasta 105Ω y aislantes los que tienen una resistencia superior a 109 Ω. La norma EN 61340 considera antiestático al calzado que se encuentra entre 105 Ω y 108 Ω. El Calzado ESD de Robusta se ajusta a estos requisitos de la norma encontrándose según todos los ensayos en la horquilla entre 105 Ω y 108 Ω.

The ESD Footwear manufactured by Calzados Robusta, SL has been designed taking into account the requirements of EN 61 340 on the manufacture of sensitive electronics items to electrostatic discharges. In many cases items such as wristbands or others are used to provide a link between the person skin and the grounding. One way to provide ground for a worker is through their feet while standing or walking on the soil surface, properly defined or specified for the electrostatic control. ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD)It is the transfer of electrostatic charge between two bodies of different electrostatic voltage due to contact or induced by an electrostatic field. That is, all people in movement, generate electrostatic energy which can be discharged and damage certain products with which we are in contact if it is not discharged from our body to the ground.

SENSITIVE COMPONENT TO ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESDS)It is the electronic component, integrated circuit or assembly that can be damaged by an electrostatic field or an electrostatic discharge produced during normal handling, testing or transportation.

PROTECTED AREA AGAINST ESD (EPA)It is the area where ESDS sensitive components can be manipulated with a minimal risk of degradation as a result of an electrostatic discharge or electrostatic field. That is, an appropriate facility for discharges to occur to the ground. ELECTROSTATIC DISSIPATIVE FOOTWEAR (ESD)Footwear is tested by the method described in the standard EN 61 340 with an electrical resistance from an EPA area to the user between 1*105 Ω y 1*108 Ω.. When using the combination footwear-soil as the main ground connection mean to the ground, the strength of that combination must be established by the company responsible for the ESD, and it is recommended to be between 7,5*105 Ω and 3,5*107 Ω.

According to the EN ISO standards 20345:2007 and following, are considered conductive materials those with an electrical resistance up to 105 Ω and isolating those with a resistance higher than 109 Ω. The standard EN 61 340 considers antistatic the footwear between 105 and 108 Ω. Robust ESD Footwear sticks to these standard requirements. According to all the tests our footwear has a range between 105 Ω and 108 Ω.
