Rodriguez PREP Academy is a magnet school with rigorous enrollment criteria. Like Richardson PREP HI, students wishing to attend Rodriguez PREP must apply in November the year before they wish to attend. Known as a School of Engineering and Design, Rodriguez offers state-of-the-art technology and a strong academic program in forensics, design and modeling, and architecture. Courses include robotics and automation, computer science, and visual and performing arts.

Shandin Hills Middle School teachers believe in holding all students to high academic and behavioral standards while embracing students’ individual learning differences. Instruction focuses on teaching students to be lifelong learners who can communicate effectively and think independently and critically.
