Subject: Business Immersion November 8th to 11th 2013

Hello,

Have we got a treat for you, three and a half days in a beautiful, warm

and comfortable environment, working on business completely in English! We

are going to be staying in a pleasant farm outside Santa Fe de Antioquia, with all

your needs taken care of so that you can concentrate and take full advantage of

this unique opportunity.

You will be required to complete a placement exam, survey and interviewso that we can assess your capability to participate and complete the required

tasks for the Immersion. This weekend will require a minimum level of B-1 in

English.

Once we finish with the prerequisites we can get to the meat of the

matter, you will be assigned to groups for the duration of the weekend and this

will be your team. Once you are in your team you will be given your assignments

for the weekend and the exact dynamics of the competition will be explained,

yes you heard me correctly competition, and if you are to compete there must be

a prize We do need to keep some secrets up our sleeves but we are sure you

will enjoy the prizes and awards of the weekend. Since this is a competitive

assignment we will also be penalizing you for inappropriate behavior or the

cardinal sin Use of Spanish, and then unfortunately you may become familiar

with theDeck of Sorrows. (Yeah more surprises!) Now as to how we will select

the winner of the competition well this responsibility will fall on your teams

since each group will select aJuror to help in Judging and selecting the winner.

The competition will be centered on the topics covered in the case studies

we will be working with for this immersion;AEGON:Embracing and pursuing

change,SIEMENS:Motivation within a creative environment, CMI:

Developing the skills for managing change andARM:How innovation drives

research and development. Each of your teams will work to resolve the issues in

each case study but additional to this and perhaps even more pertinent you will

find a way to apply these solutions in your professional lives. You will be given

tools and methods which you will then put to use to resolve each task, these are

business tools, not English, they just happen to be in English.

As ifall of this werent enough we have also planned activities to help you

relax once weve finished our working sessions each day, so you will have several

choices on how to fill your free time after dinner, once again the only rule is of

course OnlyENGLISH! Or if you choose you and your team can take this time

to better develop your ideas and solutions.

And you thought I was done, but I have the figurative icing on the cake,

upon successful completion of the immersion all participants will receive a

certification for the Business Immersion Weekend from Global Language

Training(http://www.globaltefl.uk.com/) inLondon, England.

To close I want to leave you the final details on costs and exact date of theImmersion,

Cost:$2000.000 COPper participant*

Discounts: 5% for two participants $1900.000 COP per participant

10% for four participants $1800.000 COP per participant

Deposit:$500.000 COP per participant (September 25, 2013)
