PRACTICA 3-1
TITULACIÓN POTENCIOMETRICA ACIDO - BASE
DETERMINACION DE FOSFORO EN BEBIDAS GASEOSAS
Objetivos:
Análisis de un sistema acido base mediante titulaciones potencio métricas.
Evaluación del punto de equivalencia utilizando los métodos analíticos de la primera
derivada, segunda derivada y método de Gran.
Determinar cuantitativamente el fosforo y la concentración de ácido fosfórico, en
bebidas de cola.
Equipos:
Balanza analítica
Plancha de calentamiento con sistema de agitación
Ph metro, Electrodo combinado de vidrio
Materiales:
Material volumétrico, espátula, pipetas, agitador magnético, y termómetro.
Reactivos:
Fosfato monobásico de potasio (100ml, 0.02N}
Hidróxido de sodio (250 ml, 0.02N)
Botellas de 250 ml de bebidas comerciales (Ejemplo: Pepsi-Cola, Coca-Cola)
Procedimiento:
1) Des gasifique las muestras de cola (pepsi-Co1a® y 1a Coca-Cola®),
Colocando la muestra de aproximadamente 100 ml de la solución en baño de María por 20
minutos a 50°C para eliminar e1 di6xido de carbona (C02); Presente en la misma.
2) Se estandariza una solución 0.02N de NaOH
3) Determine la concentración de H3P04 presente en las muestras de Pepsi-Cola, y Coca-
Cola®. Titulando 25ml de la muestra con la soluci6n estandarizada de NaOH (repetir 3
veces por lo menos)

CUANTIFICACION POTENCIOMETRICAMENTE DEL ACIDO OXALICO EN UNA
MUESTRA REAL
Objetivos:
Análisis de un sistema acido - base mediante titulaciones potencio métricas.
Evaluación del punto de equivalencia utilizando los métodos analíticos de la primera
derivada, segunda derivada y método de Gran.
Determinar la concentración ácido oxálico una muestra real.
Reactivos:
Solución de hidróxido de sodio 0.1N
Ftalato acido de potasio, previamente desecado a 110ºC
Procedimientos:
a) Valoración de una solución de NaOH 0.1N con una solución de Ftalato acido de potasio
0.1M, Tal como lo realizó en la práctica anterior.
b) Valoración de la muestra: Si la muestra.es s61ida, pese 0.5grs y luego disuélvala en 10 ml
de agua. Finalmente diluya la muestra a 50 ml con agua destilada. Se toman alícuotas de 20
ml y se precede a titular con el NaOH, como en el caso anterior. Tenga la precaución de
agregar el Hidróxido de Sodio en pequeñas cantidades. Si la muestra es líquido a tome 10
ml y lleve a 50 diluyendo como en caso anterior. Proceda a realizar las titulaciones.
