Además, Alicante que es la capital de la pro-vincia se encuentra situada a nivel del mar (al-titud 0), un importante factor a tener en cuenta en los entrenamientos de muchos deportistas por la ventajas fisiológicas que les aporta.

La Costa Blanca es uno de los principales centros internacionales de referencia en la práctica del golf con 22 campos (3 de ellos Pitch & Putt), todos emplazados en un pai-saje típicamente mediterráneo.

Una temperatura media anual de 17 grados centígrados permite la práctica del golf to-dos los días del año.

The Costa Blanca is one of the main inter-national reference centres for golf practice with 21 courses (3 of them, Pitch & Putt), all of them located in a typically Mediterranean landscape.

CENTRO BTT EL COMTAT

Se ubica en el municipio alicantino de L’Orxa.

Desde el Centre BTT se accede fácil-mente a la Vía Verde del Serpis, ruta que conecta el litoral desde Gandía hasta el interior alicantino.

Es un espacio de acceso libre pre-parado para los practicantes de este deporte que cuenta con una red de rutas perfectamente seña-lizadas y con una serie de equipa-mientos y servicios de apoyo com-plementarios.

Proponemos un recorrido de casi 250 km. distribuidos en nueve rutas de distinta dificultad.

EL COMTAT BTT CENTRE

It is located in the municipality of L’Orxa (Alicante province).

Access to the Serpis Green Track, a route that connects the coastline from Gandía to Alicante’s inland, is easy from the BTT Centre.

It is a free-access space prepared for enthusiasts of this sport which boasts a network of perfectly signposted routes and a wide range of com-plementary equipment and support amenities.

We suggest a trip of nearly 250 km. distributed in nine routes with diffe-rent difficulty levels.

CENTRO BTT VALL DE POP

Tiene su punto de acogida en la localidad alicantina de Parcent. La Vall de Pop es un valle envuelto por las montañas de la Marina, un lugar donde historia y naturale-za se han unido para crear un paisaje con personalidad propia.

Desde el Centre BTT Vall de Pop, desde Parcent, nos podremos adentrar en bici en un mundo de sensaciones donde las sierras de la Serrella, Aixortà, Bérnia, Ca-vall Vert y Carrascar encierran pueblos, masías y viejos despoblados moriscos, que junto con viñedos y almendros cul-tivados en bancales, mantienen viva, como hace siglos, la cultura de la piedra en seco.

El Centre BTT de Pop ofrece la posibili-dad de realizar un total de nueve rutas, de diferente dificultad, con un recorrido total de 260 km., que parten de diferen-tes sitios, Castell de Castells y Benissa.

VALL DE POP BTT CENTRE

Its reception point is located in the town of Parcent (Alicante province). Vall de Pop is a valley surrounded by La Mari-na mountains, a place where history and nature have joined forces to create a uni-que landscape.

From the Vall de Pop BTT Centre, we can ride on our bikes into a world of sensa-tions where the mountain ranges of la Serrella, Aixortà, Bérnia, Cavall Vert and Carrascar host deserted old Moorish vi-llages, towns and farms which, together with vineyards and almond trees grown in terraces, keep the dry stone culture alive like centuries ago.

The Pop BTT Centre offers the possibility of making a total of nine routes, with di-fferent difficulty levels and a total distance of 260 km., starting from several places, Castell de Castells and Benissa.

TURISMO ACTIVOACTIVETOURISMDesde las tradicionales rutas de sende-rismo, montaña o escalada, pasando por actividades con ciertas dosis de riesgo como la espeleología, el barran-quismo acuático o las vías ferratas, la oferta de turismo activo en la provincia es amplia y variada.

La provincia de Alicante es la segunda más montañosa de España, su cumbre es Aitana con 1558 m., y cuenta además con 212 caminos de corto recorrido co-nocidos como PR-CV y uno de larga dis-tancia, GR, que va desde Alcoy a Pinoso. Hay un gran número de empresas, clubs y asociaciones de turismo activo que or-ganizan actividades a lo largo de la toda la provincia como a El Barranco del Infer-no en La Vall de Laguar, más conocido como El reino del senderismo.

From the traditional trekking, mountain or climbing routes, and including activities with a certain level of risk such as pothol-ing, water canyoning or the so-called Vías Ferratas [climbing routes], the active tour-ism offer is wide and varied.

The Alicante province is the second in Spain with the most mountains, its highest peak is Aitana, at 1558 m, and it also has 212 short-distance hiking trails, known as PR-CV, and one long-distance trail, GR, going from Alcoy to Pinoso.
