We are very happy seeing

all the material

delivered for our organic

garden.

The planting on the

terraces depends on the different

kinds of seeds that we

have received.

In the preparation of nitrogen bio we add :

the cow dung, the yeast, the water and

the molasses.

We leave it in a

ventilated place for

thirty days. Then it can be applied around the

plants without

touching the root.

This is a project that is based on classroom processes. It is designed with the possibility of interaction with all areas of knowledge.

After organizing the ground and its fertilization, we dig the holes where we have to plant each seedling that was given to us, according to the various terraces and varieties of plants.After planting the seedlings or seeds provided, we pay attention to take care of that space where each plant was sown and we add the fertilizer to their surroundings to assist in their protection and their care.

• In preparing the land we care for the organization of the terraces.

• Children should bring some earth , soaked with water in the summer

• We have been organized into different groups, for soaking the ground for some days and to eliminate weeds.

• We prepare the ground for a clean and well-defined space, where we can make the compost.

• After clearing the land, organic waste is transported to that place. We have added lime and ash. Then after we had stirred, we added more lime and ashes, until obtaining the humus to fertilize plants.

• The organic waste deposit should be done with great care, to protect what we have done, for a very good result.

In the realization of the holes, we look after the work of students, they are descendants of farmers.

The Bordeaux mixture is an organic fungicide. A mixed lime and copper sulfate in water.

The teachers have carefully applied the Bordeaux mixture in the vicinity of the plants.

Parents and Community members are joining our work.

We start the construction of terraces.

At the start of construction of terraces, we define the measures of the ground.

It is a shared work: an agricultural technician has guided our process.

We have developed a level to make horizontal terraces.

We received very good training.

We were taught to prepare a blackberry

jam.
