Fresh Tangerines Through this letter we want to thank you for having us, together with your co-workers, and your predisposition to solve inconvenients and ease the commerce between Indonesia and our country. In relation to fresh fruit exports to Indonesia and the limitation that represents to us that your country does not emit more Import Permits (IP), in special for fresh tangerines from Argentina beginning the 1 st of July this year, we expect for the IPs to be emitted between the next days and they will be of great help that your Embassy could confirm or rectify this information as soon as possible. As we have expressed to Sr. Ambassador, this is detrimental to tangerines’ exports and critics in general, since Indonesia is still a small market but very important for us and it is developing. At the same time, Argentinean exports do not affect the fruit domestic market from the country. On the contrary, it helps to Argentinean producers’ economy that is not going through a good situation, as Sr. Ambassador knows. Taking in account the current situation, we allow ourselves to remember Sr. Ambassador of pending matters, but the one previously mentioned is our priority. We need the existence of sheltered IPs capacity for Argentinean tangerines throughout the year, and this year IPs permit the entrance of fruit from the 1 st of September, 2015 (we could confirm today that the capacity given begins the 1 st od October). 1
