Monterrey  NL.  A  11  de  agosto  de  2015  /  August  11,  2015      Discipleship  International.    Travis:    Te  envío  mi  informe,  en  el  cual  incluyo  un  poco  de  la  misión  en  Pinotepa  pues  no  te  había  reportado  sobre  eso  ,  siguiendo  con  mis  actividades  en  el  semestre  y  concluyo  con  las  actividades  misioneras  de  julio.  /  I’m  sending  you  my  report,  in  which  I  include  a  bit  about  the  Mission  trip  to  Pinotepa,  since  I  hadn’t  reporte  don  that,  followed  by  my  activities  during  the  semester  and  including  the  missionary  activities  of  July.      Como  cada  año,  estuvimos  en  Pinotepa,  formando  un  equipo  de  trabajo  formado  por    gente  de  Canadá,  Puebla,  Monterrey,  Jalisco  y  Oaxaca.  /  As  with  every  year,  we  were  in  Pinotepa,  forming  a  team  from  people  from  Canada,  Puebla,  Monterrey,  Jaliso,  and  Oaxaca.  

   Además  estuvimos  con  la  Iglesia  Fuente  de  Amor,  que  con  sus  20  misiones  están  dando  un  seguimiento  a  los  recién  convertidos.  /  We  were  also  with  the  Church  “Fuente  de  Amor”  [Fount  of  Love],  that  with  their  20  missions  they  are  following  up  with  those  newly  converted.    Tuvimos  evangelismo  casa  por  casa.  /  We  evangalized  door  to  door.  

   Al  igual  que  otros  años  trabajamos  en  escuelas,  aunque  este  año  en  menor  numero  de  ellas  pues  llegamos  cuando  ya  habían  cerrado  clases.  /  Just  as  in  other  years,  we  worked  with  schools.  Although  this  year  in  smaller  number  as  we  arrived  after  school  had  finished.    

   Algo  nuevo  que  hicimos,  al  ver  lo  que  esta  sucediendo  con  la  policía  en  Monterrey,  fue  visitar  a  los  policías  de  Pinotepa  e  invitarlos  a  recibir  a  Jesucristo,  muchos  de  ellos  lo  hicieron,  pero  el  reto  es  dar  un  seguimiento  a  ellos.  Ahora  estamos  participando  con  la  Policía  en  Monterrey  para  ver  como  podemos  hacer  para  dar  un  seguimiento  también  en  Pinotepa  tal  y  como  se  esta  haciendo  en  Monterrey.  /  Something  new  we  did,  seeing  what  has  been  happening  with  the  Police  in  Monterrey,  was  to  go  visit  the  pólice  in  Pinotepa  and  invite  them  to  receive  Crist.  Many  of  them  did,  but  the  challenge  is  to  follow-­‐up  with  them.  Now  we  are  participating  with  the  pólice  in  Monterrey  to  see  how  we  can  also  give  follow-­‐up  in  Pinotepa  just  as  it  is  being  done  in  Monterrey.  

         En  Monterrey,  estamos  discipulando  grandes  y  pequeños  grupos,  entre  ellos  presento  fotos  de  algunos  que  conocieron  los  misioneros  canadienses  ahora  que  vinieron.  /  In  Monterrey  we  are  discipling  large  and  small  groups,  among  these  I  present  pictures  of  some  that  were  met  by  the  Canadian  missionaries  that  just  came.          Elias  quien  discípulo  personalmente  y  ya  esta  asistiendo  a  la  Iglesia,  cabe  decir  que  en  sus  22  meses  de  que  recibió  al  Señor  solo  1  dia  ha  dejado  de  hacer  su  devocional.  /  Elias,  whom  I  disciple  personally  and  is  now  attending  Church,  is  impressive  to  report  that  in  his  22months  since  he  received  the  Lord  has  only  missed  1  day  of  his  quiet  time.    

       La  casa  de  Casildo,  es  un  seguimiento  de  la  misión  de  julio  2014,  su  familia  esta  recibiendo  discipulado  de  mailbox  y  es  de  mencionarse  que  el  era  un  borracho  desahuciado  por  todos  incluyendo  a  su  familia  y  desde  entonces  hasta  ahora  no  ha  vuelto  a  tomar.  /  The  Casildo  home  is  a  follow  up  from  the  missions  trip  of  July  2014.  His  family  is  receiving  the  Mailbox  Discipleship  and  I’d  like  to  point  out  that  he  was  viewed  as  a  hopeless  drunk  by  everyone,  including  his  family.  But  since  then  to  now  has  not  returned  to  the  bottle.  

     La  casa  de  Josue  y  Ruth,  un    joven  matrimonio  que  en  la  misión  de  julio  2014  recibieron  al  Señor  y  desde  entonces  les  impartimos  discipulado  en  su  casa,  donde  ahora  llegan  a  juntarse  para  el  estudio  hasta  15  o  mas  personas.  /  The  home  of  Josue  and  Ruth  [  Joseph  &  Ruth],  they  are  a  Young  couple  who  accepted  the  Lord  in  the  missions  trip  of  July  2014  and  since  then  we  have  discipled  in  their  home,  where  we  now  have  about  15  plus  people  that  come  for  studies.    

   La  casa  de  Bocho,  estamos  impartiendo  en  esta  casa  el  discipulado  de  mailbox  pues  son  recién  convertidos  y  es  un  material  apropiado  para  ellos,  quiero  hacer  notar  que  casi  todos  nuestros  grupos  de  discipulados  son  de  recién  convertidos.  /  Bocho’s  home,  we  are  leading  a  Mailbox  Discipleship  as  they  are  new  converts  and  it  is  appropriate  material  for  them.  I’d  like  to  make  note  that  almost  all  our  Discipleship  groups  are  of  new  converts.  

   Pero  también  tenemos  discipulado  de  EPS  en  las  iglesias  donde  los  discípulos  están  creciendo  en  su  comunión  con  Dios,  la  memorización  de  las  escrituras  y  el  evangelismo,  dos  de  estas  iglesias  estuvieron  participando  en  la  misión  de  julio  2015.  /  But  we  also  have  ETS  Discipleship  in  the  churches  where  the  disciples  are  growing  in  their  communion  with  God,  memorizing  the  Scriptures,  evangelizm.  Two  of  these  churches  were  participants  in  the  July  2015  Missions  trip.  

 

   Independientemente  que  sea  epoca  de  misiones  o  no  nosotros  seguimos  haciendo  el  trabajo  de  evangelismo  durante  el  año,  principalmente  con  familias  de  inconversos  con  los  que  se  tiene  contacto.  /  Independently  of  whether  it  is  Missions  trip  time  or  not,  we  continue  doing  evangelism  during  the  year,  especially  with  families  of  unbelievers/non-­‐converts  with  whom  we  have  contact.    

       Tambien  hemos  bautizado  a  algunas  de  las  personas  que  reciben  al  Señor  y  varios  de  ellos  nos  acompañan  a  la  Iglesia  sino  cada  domingo  cuando  menos  ya  empiezan  a  asistir.  /  We  have  also  baptized  some  of  those  who  have  accepted  the  Lord  and  some  of  them  will  come  to  church  with  us,  if  not  every  Sunday,  then  as  they  can  they  start  to  attend.    

       

 

A  continuacion  te  describo  algunas  de  las  actividades  que  tuvimos  en  esta  mision  de  julio  de  2015.  /  Following  I’ll  describe  some  of  the  activities  that  we  had  in  this  July  2015  Missions  Trip.      Domingo  5.-­‐  El  equipo  de  evangelismo  constituido  por  8  canadienses,  3  traductores  y  4  mexicanos  era  el  equipo  base  y  este  dia  estuvieron  en  la  Iglesia  Bautista  Cumbres,  después  en  la  tarde  estuvimos  en  colonia  Fomerrey  87,  donde  estuvimos  evangelizando  en  las  casas  y  después  tuvimos  un  estudio  en  una  de  las  casas  de  un  recién  convertido.  Se  entregaron  10  nuevos  testamentos  a  recién  convertidos.  /  Sunday  5:  the  basic  evangelism  team  was  made  up  of  8  Canadians,  3  translators,  and  4  Mexicans.  On  this  day  they  were  at  the  “Iglesia  Bautista  Cumbres”.  Later  in  the  afternoon  we  were  in  the  Town  of  Fomerrey  87,  where  we  did  evangelism  in  the  homes  y  we  then  had  a  study  in  one  of  the  homes  of  one  just  converted.  We  distributed  10  New  Testaments  to  the  new  believers.    

 Despues  de  esto  fuimos  al  mirador  del  obispado  donde  estuvimos  orando  por  la  ciudad.  /  After  this  we  went  to  the  Bishops  Viewpoint  where  we  spent  time  in  prayer  for  the  City.      Lunes  6.-­‐  Estuvimos  en  la  colonia  Praderas  de  San  Francisco,  fuimos  un  total  de  22  personas  y  recibieron  al  Señor  25  personas  en  las  casas  y  en  un  torneo  de  dominadas  de  futbol  19  jovenes  recibieron  al  Señor.  /  Monday  6:  We  went  to  the  town  of  “Praderas  de  San  Francisco”.  We  were  22  in  the  team  and  25  accepted  the  Lord  in  their  homes.  In  a  Youth  Soccer  Tournament  19  youth  accepted  the  Lord.      

   

 Este  día  terminamos  con  un  estudio  en  la  casa  de  Edith,  que  fue  la  anfitriona.  /  This  day  we  finished  with  a  study  in  the  home  of  Edith,  that  was  our  hostess.    Martes  7.-­‐  Fuimos  a  la  Iglesia  Príncipe  de  Paz  y  éramos  un  total  de  22  personas  divididas  en  5  equipos  trabajando  alrededor  de  la  Iglesia,  rumbo  en  el  cual  recibieron  al  Señor  cerca  de  34  personas,  y  recibirán  seguimiento  por  parte  del  Pastor  Juan.  /  Tuesday  7:  We  went  to  the  Church  “Principe  de  Paz”  and  we  were  a  total  of  22  people,  whom  we  divided  into  5  groups  working  in  the  área  neighbouring  the  Church,  during  which  time  34  people  accepted  the  Lord  and  will  be  receiving  follow-­‐up  by  Pastor  Juan.      

   

Miércoles  8.-­‐  Fuimos  a  la  misión  de  la  IB  Príncipe  de  Paz,  donde  esta  como  misionero  el  hermano  Pablo,  misionero  que  dara  el  seguimiento  en  esta  colonia,  éramos  22  personas  divididos  en  5  equipos,  con  aproximadamente  un  resultado  de  32  convertidos.  /  Wednesday  8:  We  went  to  the  IB  Principe  de  Paz  Mission,  where  brother  Paul  is  a  missionary  –  he’ll  be  the  missionary  that  will  follow-­‐up  with  the  town.  We  were  22  people  divided  into  5  teams,  with  an  approximate  result  of  32  converts.      

   Jueves  9.-­‐  Estuvimos  en  la  mañana  en  La  Prisión  de  Alta  Seguridad  de  Apodaca,  donde  nos  dieron  oportunidad  de  compartir  testimonios  y  el  evangelio.  En  la  tarde  estuvimos  en  la  colonia  santa  Cecilia,  evangelizando  en  las  calles  y  concluimos  con  un  estudio  bíblico  en  casa  de  Chayo.  /  Thursday  9:  In  the  morning  we  were  in  the  High  Security  Prison  of  Apodaca.    There  we  were  given  the  oportunity  to  share  testimonies  and  the  Gospel.  In  the  afternoon  we  were  in  the  town  of  Santa  Cecilia,  evangelising  in  the  streets  and  we  ended  with  a  Bible  study  in  the  home  of  Chayo.      

 En  esta  área  varios  jóvenes  recién  egresados  de  la  secundaria  recibieron  al  Señor  y  como  resultado  tuvimos  en  ese  día  14  recién  convertidos.  /  In  this  área  a  few  Youth  

just  graduated  from  high-­‐school  accepted  the  Lord  and  as  a  result  on  that  day  we  had  14  new  converts.      Viernes  10.-­‐  Estuvimos  en  la  misión  de  Pesquería  con  el  misionero  Noé,  quien  dara  el  seguimiento,  estuvimos  evangelizando  22  personas  divididos  en  5  equipos  con  resultados  de  32  recien  convertidos.  /  Friday  10:  We  were  in  the  mission  of  Pesqueria  [fisheries]  with  the  missionary  Noe  [Noah],  who  will  be  following-­‐up  in  the  área.  Our  team  was  22  people,  divided  into  5  teams,  which  resulted  in  32  new  converts.      

 En  esta  misma  área,  este  dia  hicimos  un  torneo  de  dominadas  de  futbol,  en  donde  también  varios  jóvenes  y  niños  recibieron  al  Señor,  además  de  los  mencionados  anteriormente.  /  In  this  same  área,  on  that  day,  we  ran  a  Soccer  Tournament,  in  which  Youth  and  kids  accepted  the  Lord,  a  part  from  the  previously  mentioned  people.      Sábado  11.-­‐  Igualmente  en  Pesquería  con  27  personas  evangelizando,  divididas  en  6  equipos  y  resultados  de  30  recién  convertidos.  /  Saturday  11:  As  in  Pesqueria,  with  27  people  evangelizing,  divided  into  6  groups  we  had  a  result  of  30  new  converts.      

     Domingo  12.-­‐  IB  Cumbres,  los  misioneros  estuvieron  predicando  y  dando  testimonios.  /  Sunday  12:  IB  Cumbres,  the  missioneries  were  preaching  and  sharing  testimonies.      

   Lunes  13.-­‐  Descanso  /  Monday  13:  Rest    Martes  14.-­‐  Estuvimos  en  la  Alianza  de  Monterrey,  éramos  15  personas  evangelizando,  divididas  en  4  equipos,  24  personas  recibieron  al  Señor.  /  Tuesday  

14:  We  were  in  the  Monterrey  Alliance  Church,  we  were  15  evangelising,  divided  into  4  groups.  24  people  accepted  the  Lord.      

   Miércoles  15.-­‐  Salimos  a  la  misión  de  Buenavista  de  la  PIB  de  Sabinas,  con  el  Pastor  Francisco  Javier,  entre  los  que  fuimos  y  los  que  participaron  de  la  misión  fuimos  25  personas  divididos  en  5  equipos,  con  resultado  de  19  profesiones  de  Fe.  /  Wednesday  15:  We  went  to  the  Buenavista  de  la  PIB  de  Sabinas  Mission,  with  Pastor  Francisco  Javier.    Between  those  of  us  that  went  and  those  who  participated  in  the  mission  we  were  25  people  divided  into  5  teams,  with  the  result  of  19  proffessions  of  faith.      

 Concluimos  en  esta  comunidad  con  una  reunion  en  el  cual  asistieron  algunos  de  los  recién  convertidos.  /  We  concluded  in  this  community  with  a  meeting  in  which  the  new  converts  atended.      

Jueves  16.-­‐  Estuvimos  en  el  Divino  Redentor  de  San  Nicolas,  con  el  Pastor  Juan  Antonio,  evangelizando  a  los  alrededores,  un  total  de  19  en  el  equipo,  divididos  en  5  equipos,  con  24  profesiones  de  Fe.  En  esta  Iglesia  ya  hay  lideres  para  el  seguimiento  pues  están  recibiendo  el  discipulado  EPS.  /  Thursday  16:  We  were  at  the  “Divino  Redentor  de  San  Nicolas”,  with  Pastor  Juan  Antonio,  evangelizing  in  the  neighbourhood,  with  a  total  of  19  in  the  team  we  divided  into  5  teams  and  24  proffessed  faith.  In  this  Church  there  are  already  leaders  to  give  follow-­‐up  as  they  are  going  through  the  ETS  Discipleship.      

   Viernes  17.-­‐  Estuvimos  compartiendo  el  devocional  con  la  policía  municipal  de  Guadalupe  en  la  mañana  es  la  misma  zona  Metropolitana  con  Monterrey  y  la  intención  de  estar  participando  con  ellos  es  ver  si  podríamos  implementar  algo  similar  en  Pinotepa,  y  a  partir  del  medio  día  nos  fuimos  a  la  Iglesia  Divino  Redentor  a  seguir  evangelizando  en  las  calles  los  mismos  del  día  anterior  con  un  resultado  de  26  profesiones  de  Fe.  /  Friday  17:  We  were  sharing  a  devotional  with  the  Municipal  Police  of  Guadalupe  in  the  morning,  it  is  the  same  área  as  the  Metropolican  with  Monterrey  and  the  intention  is  to  be  participating  with  them  to  si  if  it  is  posible  to  implement  somthing  simiar  in  Pinotepa.  As  of  noon  we  were  at  the  “Divino  Redentor”  Church  to  continue  with  Street  evangelism  in  the  área.  There  was  a  result  of  26  proffessions  of  faith.      

   

   Con  eso  concluimos  las  actividades  pues  el  dia  sábado  18  muy  temprano,  partieron  los  canadienses  a  su  país  de  origen.  /  With  that  we  concluded  the  activities  as  very  early  on  Saturday  the  18th,  the  Canadien  team  left  to  return  to  their  country  of  origin.        A  t  e  n  t  a  m  e  n  t  e  /  Sincerely,    Valdemar  Sánchez  Ríos  Discipulado  Internacional  Mexico
