In a coastal district of Senegal, Leo, an enterprising Senegalese boy and Bego, a young Spanish woman fl eeing from her past, take on Mamadou, president of the fi sherman's guild and boss of the local “cayuco” business, organising boats to take emigrants to Europe. Mamadou rules over the district while he negotiates with the westerners the sale of an old Portuguese cannon, the only material heritage of a place long since crushed by corruption and western exploitation.

Étienne es un anciano enfermo que vive rodeado de toda clase de objetos que ha acumulado a lo largo del tiempo. Son recuerdos de un pasado trágico que no quiere olvidar. Su soledad diaria, sin embargo, se ve atacada por el mobbing que hace Jeanne, la propietaria del piso donde vive, que junto con los vecinos y los servicios sociales tienen por objetivo echarle de su hogar. Por su parte, Étienne no tiene ninguna intención de abandonar su piso, ya que vive aferrado a la convicción de estar conviviendo con las presencias de su mujer y su hija ya fallecidas. Un accidente doméstico dejará Étienne mal herido dentro de su vivienda. Con sus últimas fuerzas intentará pedir ayuda, pero sólo descubrirá la falta de humanidad de aquellos que le rodean.

Étienne is a sick old man who lives surrounded by all kinds of objects that he has accumulated over the time. These are memories of a tragic past which he refuses to forget. However, his daily loneliness is attacked by Jeanne, the apartment's owner, who along with neighbors and social services want to throw him out. Nevertheless, Étienne has no intention of leaving his apartment, as he is convinced of living with the presences of his dead wife and daughter. A domestic accident leaves Étienne badly injured in his home. With its latest breath he will try to call for help, but he will only discover the lack of humanity of

En México se casa con Chiki Weisz, ayudante de Capa que salvó los negativos de la maleta mexicana. Falleció en 2011 a los 94 años, dejando un gran legado como pintora y escritora.

Para esta ocasión, Patino ha decidido adoptar un nuevo estilo, impresionista y próximo a otros esfuerzos de documental puro, dejando que las imágenes se expliquen por sí solas, sin comentarios, entrevistas a cámara o texto en off explicativo alguno. La película arranca con la confluencia de los manifestantes en la Puerta del Sol, retratando su llegada al ritmo de batucadas y canciones populares y coreando las consignas que se convertirán en la marca del movimiento. A partir de ahí, sigue la construcción de la acampada Sol, una especie de ciudad paralela, autoorganizada y asamblearia, en la que las tareas se reparten democráticamente, cada uno ofrece su conocimiento y su trabajo y participa como puede. Para muchos, los más jóvenes, supone una revelación: es la primera vez que se sienten parte de algo así. Para otros, los más viejos, la experiencia les recuerda otras por las que pasaron en el 68 o durante la transición.

Maria, Henry y sus tres hijos comienzan sus vacaciones de invierno en Tailandia. local hospital. Due to a mix-up, the hospital staff believes she has died and takes Lucas to a tent where children without families are being held. Maria has surgery on her injured chest and leg and is later reunited with Lucas. Elsewhere, Henry, Tomas and Simon are together. Henry places the children into a vehicle supposed to take tourists to a safe place. Arriving in that location later, he discovers that Tomas and Simon have been sent elsewhere. Communication facilities are scarce, but a tourist named Karl, who was also separated from his family by the tsunami, volunteers to accompany Henry to look for Maria and Lucas. Henry and Karl search for their families in various places before they arrive at the hospital where Maria and Lucas are. The vehicle carrying Tomas and Simon stops outside the hospital; the family eventually reunites. Maria has surgery which she survives and the following day the family boards an airplane to Singapore, where they intend to seek medical care.

Los que todavía viven son hombres de más de setenta años con cientos de títulos a sus espaldas (algunos de los más célebres del último medio siglo). Su testimonio, sembrado de anécdotas y aventuras, permanece inédito y representa la historia viva de un acontecimiento cinematográfico que difícilmente se volverá a repetir.

TOMORROW I COULD BE DEAD recalls the story of a group of reckless Spanish stuntmen active during the second half of last century. Their vibrating careers firstly introduced them to roman peplum and big budget historical films - Alexander the Great, Spartacus, Ursus, King of Kings, 55 Days in Peking- later on to spaghetti westerns - the Leone Dollar-Trilogy, Django, Keoma- and finally to big international productions in the 70's and 80's such as Conan the Barbarian, The Wind and the Lion, Breakout or Indiana Jones and the last crusade. These men, half brave, half crazy have become part of history of cinema and, thanks to their profession- filled with anecdotes- and their adventurous condition reveal themselves as extremely interesting

Albert Casals es un joven que se mueve en silla de ruedas a causa de una leucemia sufrida a los 5 años. Una circunstancia que no le ha impedido hacer realidad su sueño: recorrer el mundo. Y hacerlo a su modo. Sin dinero, sin compañía, y sin equipaje. Cargado únicamente con su imaginación y su coraje. Una adaptación de la célebre novela gótica de Matthew G. Lewis publicada en 1796 y cuenta el destino trágico del Hermano Ambrosio en la España católica del Siglo XVII. Abandonado poco después de nacer a las puertas del Convento de los Capuchinos, Ambrosio es educado por los frailes y se convierte en un predicador admirado por su fervor y temido por su intransigencia, creyéndose protegido y libre de toda tentación. Sin embargo, la llegada de un misterioso novicio removerá sus certezas y le llevará por el camino del pecado.

A film adaptation of the famous gothic novel by Matthew G. Lewis published in 1796, depicting the tragic destiny of Brother Ambrosio in 18th Century Catholic Spain. Abandoned at birth at the door of a monastery, Ambrosio is raised by the friars, going on to become an admired preacher known for his fervour and feared for his intransigence, believing himself to be protected and free of all temptation. 'Mugaritz BSO' es un proyecto gastronómico-musical que se inició hace 5 años de la mano del chef Andoni Luis Aduriz y del músico Felipe Ugarte. Durante los últimos tres años, Felipe Ugarte ha analizado el sentido, la elaboración y la historia de algunas fórmulas culinarias de Mugaritz con objeto de interpretarlas en el lenguaje musical. Del propio proceso creativo de los temas musicales surge la realización del documental, grabado por Juantxo Sardon y codirigido junto con Felipe Ugarte, que recoge el seguimiento íntegro del proyecto, desde la preparación de los platos y los viajes a Etiopía y Perú en busca de las melodías, hasta las grabaciones en el estudio, mostrando y mezclando la elaboración gastronómica con la creación musical de 8 de las 12 composiciones.

'Mugaritz BSO' was launched five years ago as a collaborative gastronomic-music project by chef Andoni Luis Aduriz and musician Felipe Ugarte. Hace ya más de cincuenta años que vieron la luz las aventuras de Juan Salvo, “El Eternauta”. A día de hoy, este cómic, que narra una invasión extraterrestre que sirve de metáfora sobre los mecanismos del poder, y con la que su creador, Oesterheld, “vaticina” la cruenta represión ejercida por la dictadura militar argentina, sigue sorprendiendo a miles de lectores en todo el mundo. Lamentablemente, Héctor Oesterheld fue víctima de la represión militar y hoy en día sigue siendo uno de los muchos desaparecidos que llenan de dolor la memoria de todo un país. Pero Elsa Sánchez, su compañera y cómplice a lo largo de muchos años, aún sigue entre nosotros. Ella es “La mujer del Eternauta”. The Argentine artist, Héctor Oesterheld –the scriptwriter-, created a highly metaphorical and political comic strip that, contrary to the norm at the time, took place in Buenos Aires, far away from the usual settings depicted in most other comic strips (US, France). Unfortunately, Héctor Oesterheld was one of the victims of the military repression and, to this day, he is one of the many missing persons that fill a whole country’s memory with sorrow. But Elsa Sánchez, his partner and closest ally during many years is still with us. She is the wife of “El Eternauta”. A woman who survived Hector's disappearance and the murder of their four daughters: Beatriz, Estela, Diana y Marina. A woman who managed to overcome a dire situation and to forge ahead during those difficult years, when repression and death were ever-present, protagonists of one of the darkest periods in Argentina's history.

Una joven estudiante del conservatorio de danza tiene que preparar una prueba de fin de curso sobre Antonio Machado, para ello se adentrará en la vida y obra del poeta, protagonizando un viaje cinematográfico híbrido entre el documental y la ficción. Aparentemente alejada de toda conexión con el poeta, experimentará un profundo impacto al descubrirle, tanto por vivir en los campos de Castilla de hoy en día, como por sentir la misma cualidad de ensoñación y compartir su anhelo. Su reto será intentar traducir la palabra escrita al idioma del cuerpo; su éxito o fracaso dependerá de aprender que éstos en realidad radican en la capacidad de sentir la vida.

Kiko y Castro, dos guardias civiles algo gamberros encuentran un cadáver sin pies ni cabeza en un merendero de la sierra. La cúpula mayor de la Guardia Civil encarga al Cabo Elías, un pobre infeliz, la investigación del caso, dado que no interesa demasiado que la complicada trama salga a la luz: el muerto es un Guardia Civil sindicalista. Para intentar dar sentido al caso, Elías tendrá la inestimable ayuda de Conda, una guapa forense por la que se siente atraído, y de Edu, su mejor amigo ex-drogadicto. Se unirán a ellos Kiko y Castro, que aportarán grandes dosis de humor a la disparatada investigación. La entrañable relación de Elías con su madre enferma, y la amistad hasta sus últimas consecuencias que le une a Edu, dotan de emotividad los momentos más íntimos. Por su parte, el mismísimo General Yanes moverá los hilos pertinentes para acabar con Elías. Le ayudará el Teniente Checa, un militar implacable y sanguinario sin miramientos, que a su vez se apoyará en un sicario de su unidad para no dejar ningún cabo suelto. Lo que Elías no sabrá, es que muchas pistas le conducen a explicar un oscuro secreto de su pasado. La muerte del sindicalista y la de su padre años atrás en extrañas circunstancias, confluyen en una oscura y peligrosa trama en la que se jugará su propia vida para resolver el caso.

Kiko and Castro, two somewhat yobbish civil guardsmen find a cadaver without a head or feet in a picnic area in the mountains. The upper echelons of the Civil Guard instruct Corporal Elias, a bungler, to investigate the case, since they are not too interested in seeing the complicated plot come to light: the deceased is a unionist Civil Guard. To try to make sense of the case, Elias will have the invaluable help of Conda, a beautiful forensic scientist to whom he is attracted, and Edu, his best friend and former drug addict. They will join Kiko and Castro, who will bring a great deal of humour to this crazy investigation. What Elías does not know, however, is that many clues will lead him to a dark secret from his past. The death of unionist and that of his father years ago under mysterious circumstances converge in a dark and dangerous plot that will put his own life at risk in order to solve the case.

Andrés, un joven granjero de Oaxaca, México, intenta una y otra vez cruzar la frontera norteamericana ilegalmente. Sin embargo, la muerte, la sed y el desierto se interponen entre él y su sueño. Justo cuando está a punto de darse por vencido, la llamada del norte se hace sentir una vez más mediante un plan a la vez surrealista y brillante, y se embarca en su último intento por cruzar la frontera.

Andres, a young farmer from Oaxaca, Mexico, tries over and over again to cross the North-American border illegally; however death, thirst and the desert get in between him and his dream. Just when he is about ready to give up, the call of the north beckons him once more and by means of surrealistic, yet brilliant plan, he embarks on one last attempt to cross the border.

Un Madrid denso y geométrico guía en la actualidad los pasos perdidos de muchas personas conmocionadas por su inesperado despido. Tiempo atrás, siete trabajadores de la empresa pública filial de Telefónica Sintel se suicidaron al poco de recibir la noticia de su despido. Varios más murieron prematuramente. ¿Los otros? Los otros luchan aún hoy por mantener su autoestima. Han pasado once años desde que el ‘Campamento de la Esperanza’ dejó su huella en el centro financiero de Madrid. Ahora se celebra el juicio y se desvelan muchas de las claves del entramado financiero político que quebró Sintel. Hoy los afectados acometen su presente mirando de soslayo a aquel pasado de conmoción que cambió su vida.

A dense Madrid and geometric guide to one of today’s main problems, following the wandering steps of the many people shocked by their unexpected dismissal. Years ago, seven workers of the subsidiary of the public company Telefónica Sintel committed suicide shortly after receiving the news of their dismissal. Several more died prematurely. The others?
