SinopsisLa ÚLtima Era: Cosmos y tiEmpo maya.

Espectáculo multimedia en el que las antiguas voces de los instrumentos musi-

cales del México Prehispánico nos transportan a un recorrido por los rumbos

del antiguo cosmo maya. Nahb’at, El Ungidor, nos encaminará por los bacabes,

los rumbos del universo, al nacimieto del oriente, y el ocaso de la vida en el po-

niente, y a la eterna batalla entre la luz de los niveles celestiales y la oscuridad

del inframundo. A través de la música de Costumbreros que cantan, ríen, lloran

y dialogan flautas, ocarinas, trompetas mayas, tunkules, zacatanes y el más

extenso arsenal sonoro llevado a escena en el estado de Chiapas, la danza y

el video envuelven al espectador en una experiencia que lo llevará a una mayor

conciencia de lo que somos. El tiempo humano y el tiempo sagrado confluyen

en la cuenta de los años para llevarnos a la última era que hemos compartido

con los antiguos habitantes de las naciones mayas, iniciando una nueva era en

la que, junto con todas las fuerzas del universo, sólo una puede mostrarnos el

camino como género humano: el amor.

thE Last Era: mayan Cosmos and timE

Multimedia show where the ancient voices of the musical instruments of prehispanic Mexi-

co carry us through an ancient Mayan cosmos path. Nahbat, The Anointer, will guide

us through the route of the universe, the birth of the east, the twilight of the life in the

west, and the eternal battle between the light of the celestial levels to the darkness of the

underworld. Through Costumbreros music, who sing, laugh, cry and play flutes, socarrinas,

Mayan trumpets, tunkules, zacatales and the most extensive sonic arsenal ever presented

on stage in the state of Chiapas. The dancing and the video embrace the viewer in an ex-

perience which will make them conscious of what we are. The human time and the sacred

time converge at the count of the years to take us to the last era shared with the ancient

dwellers of the Mayan nations; starting a new era in which, along with all the forces of the

universe, just one of them can show us the path as humans: Love.
