El Palacio de Congresos de Valencia fue diseñado y construido por Lord Norman Foster en 1998. Es un Centro de Congresos vanguardista que dispone de todas las salas e instalaciones necesarias para un perfecto desarrollo de las reuniones, que además está rodeado de hoteles, 989 habitaciones para llegar andando al congreso en uno o dos minutos.

Y en 2018 y 2010 fue galardonado con el premio al “Mejor Palacio de Congresos del Mundo” que otorga la Asociación Internacional de Palacios de Congresos (AIPC). Éste es el premio más importante que concede esta asociación, aunque realmente lo otorgan los clientes. Porque el premio es el resultado de una encuesta exhaustiva que las sociedades internacionales y las empresas rellenan y envían directamente a la AIPC.

En el Palacio de Congresos de Valencia podemos trabajar de muy diferentes maneras, de acuerdo con las necesidades y preferencias de nuestros clientes: bien podemos prestar todos los servicios necesarios en el congreso, actuando como único proveedor del evento, o bien podemos ofrecer sólo algunos servicios, dejando el resto a cargo del cliente o de su agencia. Y siempre damos el apoyo necesario a los proveedores externos que realizan el montaje y el desarrollo del servicio.

Trabajamos mano a mano con nuestro cliente, uniendo nuestro conocimiento del edificio y nuestra experiencia en reuniones nacionales e internacionales con su conocimiento y experiencia del congreso. No nos gusta demasiado ser unos meros proveedores. Preferimos ser tus socios. Siempre debería ser así, ya que tu éxito es nuestra mejor recompensa.

The Valencia Conference Centre was designed and built by Lord Norman Foster in 1998. It is a state-of-the-art congress venue, which has all the rooms and facilities needed to stage any type of meeting. In addition, it is surrounded by hotels and has 989 rooms within one or two minutes’ walking distance.

In 2018 and 2010, the organisation was named the “World’s Best Convention Centre” by the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC). This is the Association’s highest accolade, though it is an award that is actually decided by customers, in that it is the result of a comprehensive survey completed by international societies and companies, which is sent directly to the AIPC.

The Valencia Conference Centre is a flexible organisation and aims to dovetail its services to fit in with its customers’ needs and preferences. We can either supply all the services required for a congress, acting as the event’s sole provider, or offer just some of the services needed, leaving the customer or their agency to supply the rest. Yet we are always on hand to help external suppliers to set up and get their events ready.

We work closely with our customers, combining our inside knowledge of the building and experience in organising national and international meetings with our clients’ know-how and experience of the actual event itself. Our aim is not simply to be a supplier. We want to be a valued partner. In our book, teamwork is the best way to success.

El Auditorio 1 tiene una capacidad máxima de 1.481 butacas. El tamaño del escenario lo hace idóneo para acoger las sesiones plenarias. Es altamente versátil y su distribución puede adaptarse a todo tipo de eventos. Disponemos de unas lonas blancas que se usan a menudo para reducir la capacidad del Auditorio y adaptarlo así a una asistencia menor, o usarse como una sala paralela.

Auditorium 1 can seat up to 1,481 people. The size of its stage makes it the perfect scenario to hold plenary sessions. It is a highly versatile space and its layout can be adapted to cater for all types of events.

Should a smaller space be required, the auditorium’s capacity can be divided using white PVC partitions so it can be used for fewer people or as a breakout room.

Este Auditorio tiene 467 butacas, siendo el más utilizado por los congresos, según una tendencia creciente en el mercado de congresos. Está diseñado y equipado para acoger toda clase de reuniones, con los recursos, instalaciones y servicios necesarios para animar a la audiencia a participar activamente.

La disposición semi-circular con mesas y escritorios retráctiles hacen de este auditorio el mejor espacio para los días de intenso trabajo.

This Auditorium seats 467 people, and is designed to satisfy the requirements of the increasingly demanding modern conference market. It is well equipped to cater for all types of meetings and offers all the essential resources, facilities and services required to encourage active audience participation.

The semi-circular seating arrangement with fixed tables and pull-out work shelves is perfect for intense working days.

Este auditorio con una capacidad de 260 asistentes, es una sala multiusos de vanguardia. Al ser diáfana admite cualquier tipo de montaje, como sala de reunión, zona de exposición o de pósters, zona de catering o cualquier otro. Además, puede reducir su tamaño si se necesita gracias al sistema de panelado que se integra perfectamente en los laterales de la sala.

Auditorium 3 was conceived as an avant-garde multi-purpose hall. Its open-plan layout means it can stage any kind of meeting or be used as a meeting room, exhibition or poster area, or even as a catering area. It can also be divided into two smaller spaces, if required, thanks to its inbuilt partition system.

Estas salas multiusos de 480m2 (SM1) y de 504m2 (SM2) se encuentran en el primer y segundo piso del edificio respectivamente. Pueden ser utilizadas como espacio de exposición, de catering o de reunión para 300 personas cada una. Además, disponen de las infraestructuras necesarias para ofrecer servicios de catering de gran tamaño como cocteles, almuerzos de trabajo o cenas de gala.

La primera de sus salas multiusos puede acoger hasta 450 personas, siendo divisible en cuatro salas independientes cuyas capacidades varían de 60 hasta 150 personas. Este espacio caracterizado por su luz natural tamizable, la presencia de infraestructuras de catering y su gran flexibilidad, multiplica sus posibilidades, construyendo con un sistema panelable móvil, cuatro nuevas zonas de reunión o networking.

These two multipurpose rooms, (480m2 and 504m2) are located on the first and second floor of the building, respectively. They can be used as exhibition or catering areas, or as meeting rooms each seating 300 people. They are also perfect for organising large-scale catering activities, such as cocktail events, working lunches or gala dinners.

The first multi-purpose room is able to accommodate up to 450 people and can be divided into four independent rooms with capacities ranging from 60 to 150 people. This highly versatile space, characterised by its natural light and catering facilities, multiplies the room’s potential by offering a mobile panel system that can create four new meeting or networking areas.

The eight break-out rooms at the Valencia Conference Centre complete the building’s line-up of rooms. These rooms are the perfect size for holding small meetings, workshops, seminars, or for using them as offices.

Consideramos que el espacio más adecuado para la exposición comercial y el catering es la zona del foyer, el Auditorio 3 y los salones multiusos 1 y 2. De esta forma podemos alcanzar los 2.330m2 (brutos). La entrada principal del edificio es otra opción, donde se puede instalar una carpa, según las necesidades de espacio de los stands.

The best areas to house an exhibition or a catering event are the foyer, Auditorium 3, and the two multi-purpose rooms, providing a total gross surface area of 2,330m2. The area in front of the building’s main entrance is another option, where a marquee can be set up for the stands, if necessary.
