contenute negli stucchi per le fughe; in questa fase ilpavimento deve essere lavato con una soluzione di acidomuriatico (2/3 di acqua, 1/3 di acido) o prodotti similariappositamente studiati quali Deterprimo (CasalgrandePadana), Deterdek (Fila), Keranet (Mapei), Deltaplus(Kerakoll), Viakal (Procter&Gamble). Per evitare che il prodotto, a base acida, usato per la primapulizia, vada ad intaccare il riempimento a base cementiziadelle fughe, si consiglia, prima della suddetta operazione,di bagnare il pavimento affinchè le fughe venganoimpregnate e pertanto protette dall'azione corrosivadell'acido stesso. Se la prima pulizia viene eseguita dopoche il pavimento è stato usato, sarà bene, primadell'applicazione del prodotto acido, togliere con appositidetersivi eventuali presenze di sostanze grasse o simili. Dopo la pulizia occorre risciacquare abbondantemente ilpavimento e raccogliere l'acqua residua.Pulizia ordinaria. Per la pulizia di tutti i giorni èsufficiente lavare il pavimento con acqua e aggiunta dinormali prodotti detergenti adatti a pulire superficiceramiche. La superficie di Granitoker, essendo praticamenteinassorbente, non richiede l'applicazione di cere e/oprodotti analoghi di protezione che, al contrario,non debbono mai essere usati. Il gres non trattienemacchie o aloni di qualsiasi genere; in presenza tuttavia dimacchie persistenti e difficili da togliere con la puliziaordinaria, esse si possono eliminare con impiegoappropriato di detergenti più forti e più concentrati ingrado di rimuovere lo sporco più intenso e di ricondurre lepiastrelle all'aspetto originario. Al riguardo è opportunosegnalare che il grès è resistente a qualsiasi sostanzachimica, eccezione fatta per l'acido fluoridrico cheattacca tutti i prodotti ceramici.

RIVESTIMENTI ESTERNIPer rivestimenti esterni di facciate Casalgrande Padana èa disposizione con il proprio ufficio tecnico per suggerirele soluzioni più idonee e per fornire una eventualeassistenza alla progettazione e alla posa.

PAVIMENTI SOPRAELEVATIGranitoker, per le sue caratteristiche fisico-meccaniche ein particolare per la elevatissima resistenza meccanica siaa flessione che a compressione, resistenza all’urto eall’abrasione, è particolarmente indicato anche perpavimentazioni sopraelevate. In questo caso l’ufficiotecnico Casalgrande Padana è in grado di offrire tuttal’assistenza necessaria per le soluzioni di ogni problema.

POSA IN OPERALa riuscita di un pavimento è dovuta non solo alla qualitàdelle piastrelle, ma a tutto un insieme di elementi(sottofondo, strato legante, giunti di dilatazione, ecc.) checostituiscono un vero e proprio sistema. Ecco perché leoperazioni di posa sono da considerarsi importanti tantoquanto la scelta delle piastrelle. È comunque compito delprogettista stabilire, in funzione della struttura e delladestinazione d'uso del piano di calpestio, il corretto mododi applicazione delle piastrelle e il tipo di piastrella dautilizzare. Granitoker non si differenzia, per quantoriguarda le operazioni di posa, da una qualsiasi altraceramica e si può quindi seguire sia il sistema tradizionalecon malta cementizia, che quello con collanti o adesivi. Prima di iniziare le operazioni di posa di una qualsiasisuperficie si raccomanda di accertarsi che la partita digrès sia adeguata e sufficiente per quantità, tono e calibro,a quella necessaria. Si dovranno poi seguire tutte le normee le precauzioni che sono alla base di una correttaesecuzione del lavoro (preparazione del sottofondo,composizione della malta o dei collanti, tempi dimaturazione, posizionamento dei giunti di dilatazione,battitura, ecc.). Se per ambienti di grandi dimensioni èassolutamente necessario posizionare i giunti conregolarità, per piccoli ambienti è sufficiente lasciare unleggero stacco fra piastrellato e muri perimetrali. Sarà poiil battiscopa a coprire lo stacco dando un aspetto difinitura. Evitare il transito sul pavimento per almeno 2/3 giornidopo la posa. In caso di necessità di transito si dovrà predisporre untavolato appoggiato sul pavimento. Tenere presente che, nel caso di posa col sistematradizionale e in mancanza di particolari additivi nella malta,è necessario attendere anche un mese prima di sottoporreil pavimento a sollecitazioni e carichi di esercizio. Granitoker, pur essendo un materiale molto resistente,può essere facilmente sagomato o perforato perl'installazione di impianti tecnico-sanitari.

MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIAUn pavimento o rivestimento murale in Granitoker èsinonimo di bellezza, durata e resistenza nel tempo oltreche di facilità di manutenzione. La sua manutenzione nonrichiede infatti particolari cure se non le seguenti norme dipulizia.Prima pulizia. Si esegue normalmente una sola voltaprima dell'utilizzo del pavimento. Ha lo scopo di eliminareogni traccia di calce, cemento o residui di resine

During this phase, the floor must be washed using asolution of hydrochloric acid (2/3 water, 1/3 acid) orsimilar products specially designed for this purpose, suchas Deterprimo (Casalgrande Padana), Deterdek (Fila),Service Solvacid (Geol), Keranet (Mapei), Deltaplus(Kerakoll), Cement Remover (Faber), or Ras Clinker(Madras).To prevent the acid-based product used for the initialcleaning from corroding the cement-based joint filler, werecommend you wet the floor prior to cleaning so that thejoints are impregnated and thus protected from thecorrosive action of the acid. If the initial cleaning is carriedout after the floor has been used, before applying the acidproduct it is advisable to first remove any greasy or similarsubstances using suitable cleaning products. After cleaning, the floor must be rinsed thoroughly and theresidual water collected.Routine cleaning. For everyday cleaning, simply washthe floor with water and normal cleaning products suitablefor ceramic surfaces. Granitoker surface is practically impervious andtherefore does not require the application of waxand/or analogous protective products which, onthe contrary, should never be used. Stoneware does not retain stains or smudges of any type.Nonetheless, persistent stains that are difficult to removewith normal cleaning may be eliminated with theappropriate use of stronger and more concentratedcleaning products, capable of removing heavier dirt andrestoring the original appearance of the tiles.In this respect, we should point out that stonewareis resistant to all chemicals, with the exception ofhydrofluoric acid, which is harmful to all ceramicproducts.

EXTERNAL WALLS CLADDINGFor external walls cladding the technical department ofCasalgrande Padana is at customers’ disposal in order tosuggest the most suitable solution and to providenecessary assistance.

RAISED FLOORSGranitoker, thanks to their high mechanicalcharacteristics such as flexural resistance, compressionresistance, impact resistance, wearing resistance, areextremely suitable for raised floors. In this case too thetechnical department of Casalgrande Padana is atcustomers’ disposal to provide necessary assistance.

INSTALLATIONThe successful installation of floors depends not only onthe quality of tiles but on a combination of factors(bedding, binding layer, expansion joints, etc.) thatconstitute a real system. That is why installation operations are to be considered asimportant as the choice of tiles. However, based on the structure and purpose of theflooring surface, the designer is still responsible fordefining the correct procedure to lay the tiles andselecting the ones to be employed. When it comes toinstallation operations, Granitoker do not differ from anyother type of ceramic: either the traditional procedureenvisaging cement mortar or the procedure envisagingglues and adhesives may be resorted to. Before starting the installation operations of any surface,we recommend you make sure that the stoneware batchis adequate and sufficient in terms of quantity, tone andcalibration. Moreover, all necessary norms and precautionsneed to be implemented for the correct completion of thework (bedding preparation, composition of mortar oradhesives, maturing period, positioning expansion joints,ramming, etc.). If in case of large environments joints must be positionedat regular intervals, in small environments a small gapbetween the tiles and perimeter walls is sufficient: theskirting board will cover the gap and provide the finishingeffect. Avoid walking on the floor for at least 2/3 days afterinstallation. If walking on the floor is necessary, laywooden planks on the surface. Please notice that if thetiles are installed with the traditional procedure and noadditives are added to the mortar, at least one month hasto elapse before the floor can be subjected to stress andoperating loads.Even though Granitoker tiles are very resilient materials,they can easily be shaped or perforated to install technicaland sanitary systems.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Granitoker floor and wall cladding ensure beauty, longlife and resistance in time, in addition to easymaintenance. Maintenance does not require specifictreatment with the exception of the following cleaninginstructions. Initial cleaning. It is normally performed once beforeusing the floor. Its purpose is to eliminate any trace oflime, cement or resin residues contained in the groutsused for the joints.

POSEUn bon sol dépend non seulement de la qualité descarreaux, mais aussi de toute une série d'éléments quiconstituent un seul tout (couche de fond, couche d'unagent liant, joints de dilatation, etc.). C'est pourquoi les opérations de pose sont tout aussiimportantes que le choix du carrelage. Il appartient àl'architecte d'établir le type de carrelage à utiliser enfonction du lieu et de l'utilisation du sol ainsi que lameilleure méthode de pose des carreaux. En ce qui concerne les opérations de pose, les sériesGranitoker ne sont pas différentes des autres carreauxcéramiques et il est donc possible de suivre la méthodetraditionnelle en utilisant du mortier de ciment ou d'utiliserdes colles ou autres produits adhésifs. Avant decommencer les opérations de pose, il est recommandé devérifier que les lots de carreaux en grès correspondentbien à la quantité, à la couleur et au calibre nécessaires. Ilfaut ensuite respecter toutes les normes et lesprécautions qui sont à la base de la bonne exécution destravaux (préparation de la couche de fond, composition dumortier ou des colles, positionnement des joints dedilatation, nivellement à l'aide du maillet, temps deséchage, etc.). Pour les grandes surfaces, il est absolument nécessairede positionner les joints avec la plus grande régularité,tandis que pour les petites surfaces, il suffira de laisser unléger écart entre le carrelage et les murs périmétraux. Ce seront ensuite les plinthes qui couvriront l'écart pourdonner l'aspect de finition. Après la pose, éviter demarcher sur le sol pendant au moins 2 ou 3 jours. Si lepassage s'avère nécessaire, il faudra poser des planchessur le sol. Ne pas oublier qu'en cas de pose en suivant laméthode traditionnelle et en absence d'additifs particuliersdans le mortier, il faut attendre même un mois avant desoumettre le sol à toute charge et/ou sollicitation. Même si les carreaux des séries Granitoker sontextrêmement résistants, ils sont faciles à façonner et àperforer pour installer les équipements technico-sanitaires.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGEUn revêtement de sol ou de mur en Granitoker estsynonyme non seulement de beauté, de solidité et dedurabilité, mais aussi de facilité d'entretien. En effet, aucune opération particulière n'est exigée pourson entretien. Il suffit d'appliquer les conseils de nettoyagesuivants.Premier nettoyage. À effectuer normalement une seulefois avant d'utiliser le sol. Son but est d'éliminer les tracesde chaux et de ciment ou les résidus de résines contenusdans les ciments-colles utilisés pour le jointoiement.Pendant cette phase, les sols doivent être lavées avec une

solution d'acide muriatique (1/3 d'acide, 2/3 d'eau) ou enutilisant des produits similaires spécifiques tels queDeterprimo (Casalgrande Padana), Deterdek (Fila),Keranet (Mapei), Deltaplus (Kerakoll), Viakal(Procter&Gamble). Afin d'éviter que le produit à base acide utilisé lors dupremier nettoyage ne puisse attaquer le joint à base deciment, il est conseillé de mouiller le sol avant d'effectuercette opération, afin que les joints soient bien imprégnésd'eau en les protégeant ainsi de l'action corrosive del'acide. Si le premier nettoyage est exécuté après avoir marchésur le sol, avant d'appliquer le produit acide il faudraéliminer toute éventuelle trace de substances grasses ousimilaires en utilisant les nettoyants prévus à cet effet.Après le nettoyage, rincer le sol à grande eau, puiséliminer toute trace d'eau.Nettoyage ordinaire. Pour le nettoyage quotidien, il suffit de laver le sol avec de l'eau et des détergentsadaptés aux surfaces céramiques. Les carrelages en Granitoker étant pratiquement nonabsorbants, il n'est pas nécessaire de passer descires et/ou autres produits de protectionsimilaires, produits qui bien au contraire nedoivent jamais être utilisés. Les grès ne retient ni lestaches ni les auréoles, quelle qu'en soit l'origine.Néanmoins, en cas de taches persistantes et difficiles àéliminer par un nettoyage ordinaire, utiliser un détergentplus puissant et plus concentré en mesure d'éliminer lesimpuretés et d'aider le carrelage à retrouver son aspectoriginal. Il est intéressant de signaler que le grès résisteaux substances chimiques, à l'exception de l'acidefluorhydrique qui attaque tous les produitscéramiques.

PLANCHERS TECHNIQUES Granitoker grâce à ses caractéristiques physico-mécaniques et en particulier à sa très haute résistancemécanique à la flexion et à la compression, la résistanceau choc et à l’abrasion, est tout particulièrement indiquépour les planchers techniques. Dans ce cas le bureau technique Casalgrande Padana esten mesure d’offrir toute l’assistance nécessaire pourtrouver une solution à chaque problème.

pose et entretien

VERLEGUNGDas gute Gelingen einer Bodengestaltung hängt nicht nurvon der Qualität der Fliesen ab, sondern von einer ganzenReihe Elemente (Untergrund, Bindeschicht, Dehnungsfugen,usw.), die ein Gesamtsystem bilden. Deshalb sind dieVerlegungsarbeiten genauso wichtig wie die Wahl derFliesen. Es ist die Aufgabe des Planers, in Funktion der Struktur unddes Bestimmungszweckes der Bodenfläche die korrekteFliesenanbringungsmethode und die Art der einzusetzendenFliesen zu bestimmen. Granitoker unterscheiden sich in Bezug auf dieVerlegungsarbeiten nicht von jeder anderen Keramik,sodass die Verlegung sowohl mit dem traditionellenZementmörtelsystem als auch mit Leimen oder Klebstoffenerfolgen kann. Vor Beginn der Verlegung auf irgendwelchen Oberflächenist unbedingt sicher zu stellen, dass das Steinzeug geeignetist und in der notwendigen Menge und im gewünschtenFarbton und Werkmaß zur Verfügung steht. Daraufhin sind alle Vorschriften und Vorkehrungen zubefolgen, die einer korrekten Ausführung der Arbeiten zuGrunde liegen (Vorbereitung des Untergrundes, Zubereitungdes Mörtels oder der Kleber, Abbindezeiten, Position derDehnungsfugen, Anklopfen, usw.). In großflächigenBereichen sind die Dehnungsfugen unbedingt regelmäßigeinzuplanen, während es in kleinen Bereichen genügt, einwenig Abstand zwischen Fliesenfläche und Randmauern zulassen. Mit der Sockelleiste wird dieser Abstand dann abgedeckt,um den Boden fertig zu stellen. Nach dem Verlegen darf derBoden mindestens 2-3 Tage nicht begangen werden. Fallsein Begehen notwendig sein sollte, sind vorher Bretter aufden Boden zu legen. Es ist zu berücksichtigen, dass es bei der Verlegung mitdem traditionellen System und ohne spezielle Zusatzstoffeim Mörtel notwendig ist, noch einen Monat zu warten, bevorder Boden Beanspruchungen und Betriebslastenausgesetzt wird. INSTANDHALTUNG UND REINIGUNGEin Bodenbelag oder eine Wandverkleidung ausGranitoker ist der Ausdruck von Schönheit, dauerhafteResistenz und Langlebigkeit, sowie Pflegefreundlichkeit. Für die Instandhaltung sind abgesehen von den folgendenReinigungsvorschriften tatsächlich keine besonderenRegeln gesetzt.Erstreinigung. Wird normalerweise ein einziges Mal vorder Verwendung des Bodens durchgeführt. Sie hat die Aufgabe, jede Spur von Kalk, Zement oder

Harzrückständen aus den Fugenfüllern zu entfernen; indieser Phase ist der Bodenbelag mit einer Salzsäurelösung(2/3 Wasser, 1/3 Säure) oder spezifisch entwickeltenähnlichen Produkten wie Deterprimo (Casalgrande Padana),Deterdek (Fila), Keranet (Mapei), Deltaplus (Kerakoll), Viakal(Procter&Gamble) zu waschen.Um zu vermeiden, dass das für die Erstreinigungverwendete Produkt auf Säurebasis die Fugenfüllung aufZementbasis angreift, wird empfohlen, den Boden vordiesem Arbeitsgang zu nässen, damit die Fugen imprägniertwerden und dadurch vor der korrodierenden Wirkung derSäure geschützt sind. Falls die Erstreinigung auf einem bereits benutzten Bodendurchgeführt wird, sollten vor dem Auftragen dessäurehaltigen Produkts eventuell vorhandene Fettstoffeoder dergleichen mit geeigneten Reinigungsmitteln entferntwerden. Nach der Reinigung ist der Boden ausgiebig nachzuspülenund die Wasserrückstände aufzunehmen.Unterhaltsreinigung. Für die tägliche Reinigung genügteine Bodenwäsche mit Wasser und einem normalenReinigungsmittel für Keramikflächen. Die Oberflächen aus Granitoker sind praktisch nichtabsorbierend und verlangen kein Auftragen von Wachsund/oder ähnlichen Schutzmitteln, die im Gegenteilnie verwendet werden dürfen. Feinsteinnzeug nimmtkeinerlei Flecken bzw. Schlieren auf; sollten jedoch hartnäckige Flecken vorhandensein, die sich mit der Normalreinigung nicht entfernenlassen, können in angemessener Weise stärkere undkonzentriertere Reinigungsmittel verwendet werden, die denstärksten Schmutz entfernen und den Fliesen ihrursprüngliches Aussehen wieder zurück erstatten.Diesbezüglich ist zu erwähnen, dass Steinzeuggegen alle chemischen Mittel beständig ist, außergegen Fluorwasserstoff, der alle keramischenProdukte angreift.
