WORK DESCRIPTION

Supervise the current redesign/re-platform effort, day to day operations, overhaul of

receiving/warehousing/shipping, and the future internationalization phases (Europe, Mexico,

Japan & China where we currently have physical stores but no eCommerce presence)

Day to day operations include the following areas:

o Continuous eComm platform development, front-end development supervision

o Management of promotional campaigns

o Automation of warehouses

o Shipping & logistics

o Payment gateways/negotiations with banks

o Analysis of hosting

o EU consumer protection laws review

o Internationalization of the platform

o Management of photoshoots

o Receipt/delivery of product from factories

o Management and deadline control on Graphic design/web design/UX design

o SEM, SEO

o Supervision of front and back end development milestones (separate CTO

figure supervises technical team)

o Online PR

o Blogs, social media, facebook stores, research/implement new developments...

o Marketing (newsletters, multichannel events, e-banner and social media

campaigns)

o Multi-channel initiatives linking eCommerce to the Company’s store

o Overhaul of loyalty program

o Analysis of store performance, cost analysis, balance sheets, coordination with

accounting department

o Negotiation with modeling agencies, coordinate travel arrangements of models,

photographers, make-up artists, catering for shoots

o Source/hire/maintain list of commercial artist collaborators

o Adapt space to growing number of photoshoots/events, coordinate with

arquitecture

REQUIRED SKILLS

4 year University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business

MBA ideal for upper management track

Experience in the eCommerce field, ideally fashion/retail/consumer goods and strong

understanding of sales/customer service

Experience in direct eCommerce applications and with knowledge of warehousing,

shipping, logistics, payment gateways, security issues, EU consumer protection laws,

internationalization of a platform, management of photoshoots, receipt/delivery of

product from factories, graphic design, web design, UX design, SEO, Magento

platforms, online PR, blogs, social media, facebook stores, online media...

Bilingual in English/Spanish

(Team/Company is Spanish speaking as is primary market but English is an imperative)
