El més important de les aus:
- Són animals ovípars (neixen d’ous)- Són animals vertebrats (tenen esquelet)- La majoria poden volar - Tenen el cos cobert de plomes- Les potes i els becs poden ser molt diferents segons les aus- Algunes aus són hervíbores i d’altres són carnívores- Hi ha aus molt grans (l’àguila) i d’altres petites- Algunes aus són nocturnes (el mussol)
