Haultronic II - Descripcin

Haultronic II TroubleshootingPRESSURE TRANSDUCER FAULT
TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
2. Use the arrow keys to move to the STRUTS screen to check for opencircuit errors. These will be displayed as "ER ".
3. Unplug the right rear pressure transducer connector CN140 at the strutand verify supply voltage. Measure the voltage from pin A to pin B. See thechart below for transducer pin-out. The voltage should be 24 V 10%.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
4. If the voltage is not within this range, then check the sensor supply voltageat the Contronic ECU between pin EB4 and ground "31EA". Ground for theright rear transducer is referenced at pin FB18. This is regulated 24Vdc tothe sensors and should be 24 V 10%.

Haultronic II TroubleshootingPRESSURE TRANSDUCER FAULT
TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
6. The transducers have a pressure range of 0 to 10,000 psi. For thispressure range, the input voltage should be in the range of approximately0.95V to 4.76V. Ground Reference is pin EC19. If the voltage is not in this
range try plugging in another transducer.7. Plug a replacement transducer in the harness connector CN140 at the
right rear strut. The LCD screen will display a low pressure value 103 206kPa (15 to 30 psi) and the error will go away if the pressure transducerwas faulty
5. Check the input voltage at pin EC10 of the ECU for the Right Rearpressure transducer. The other pressure transducer inputs are given belowfor reference.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
9. If the display still shows the open circuit condition, check the harness foropen or short circuit conditions. Repair or replace harness as necessary.
10.Check the circuit board traces for open or short circuit conditions. Replacethe circuit board if trace damage is found.
11.If no open or shorts are found, replace the ECU.
8. Replace the failed strut pressure transducer. Check the strut for proper X2dimension and gas charge.
Refer to Group 7 of the appropriate Service Manual.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
The inclinometer measures 6 in the X (left to right) direction and 6 in the Y(uphill and downhill) direction, which is then displayed as a percent grade bythe following formula:
Grade (%) = 1.75 * Degree
The inclinometer connector pin arrangement and corresponding ECU/CircuitBoard pin numbers are given here for reference.

Haultronic II TroubleshootingLOAD INDICATOR LIGHT FAULT (LEDs appear dim)
TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:1. Check the light wiring as well as the frame harness wiring to determine if
they are wired correctly. The load weigh lights are 24 V LED lights and arewired to the table below.
NOTE: Pin C (high intensity output) is always for loadweigh lightapplications for maximum visibility. Pin B (low intensity output) shouldnot be connected.
2. If the lights are wired correctly, remove the lens to check that the properlens has been installed. The lens or lenses may have been accidentallyswitched during assembly. The lenses are color matched to the LED light.(green lens with green LED light etc.).
