FSTC, Gurgaon

FSTC is architectured to meet global standards of 

excellence.

The Centre will be fully operational by first week of April

2012, with the following facilities: Completely air conditioned facility with two levels of power back up.

One each Airbus 320 STD 1.7 and Boeing 737-800 Full Flight

Simulators (FFS), with expansion feasibility for accommodating a

total of 06 FFSs.

One each Briefing and Debriefing room for each simulator.

Well-equipped Class rooms.

Fully furnished Pilot Lounge with recreational facilities.

Rated Training Organization (TRTO) for Airbus-320 and

Boeing-737 aircraft

A-320 and B-737 MFTD/IPT apart from FFSs.

Regulatory Compliance

Training Devices Compliant with all the requirements of CAR Section-2 O-XIII.

Type Rating Training Organization Compliant with all therequirements of CAR Section-7 D-III.

Capt PK Sinha has been appointed as Accountable Manager. Mr. TV Raju has been appointed as Quality Manager

Mr. R Karthigeyan has been appointed as EngineeringManager

Approval SFI, Technical Instructors and Performance

Instructors would be sought from DGCA before utilizing them. DGCA approved Quality Systems Manual shall be followed.

DGCA approved Training Manual and Operational Manual shallbe used for training.

FSTC-TEAM

Vice President (Operations) Capt PK Sinha is an acclaimed

Pilot with more than 44 years of Aviation Experience. He has

handled various positions with Indian and International

airlines. Had been a TRE on A-320 Fleet of aircraft and retired

as Chief Pilot (Training) from IndiGo airlines, before taking upfreelance assignment as SFI.

General Manager R Karthigeyan, has more than 24 years of 

Aviation background in the areas of maintenance and

administration. Was instrumental in upgrade of Air Combat

Simulators and also in setting up CAE Training Centre,Bangalore , from scratch.

FSTC-INITIATIVES

Case had been taken up with DGCA for introduction of SFE

concept in India, in line with JAR FCL 1.455.

Planning to train designated DGCA personnel on Qualification

Test Guide (QTG).

In future, planning to conduct Simulator Evaluator Course to

designated DGCA personnel.

Making FFS available to DGCA for Accident Investigation and

for Trying out new procedures.
