Hotel Cristal Ballena is located at Playa Ballena (Ballena Beach) 25 km (15.5 miles) south of Dominical and 7 km south of Uvita, at km 169 of the Costanera Sur Highway (Route 34). GPS: Latitude: 9.124481 Longitude: -83.697828 or Coordinates: 9°7’27”N 83°41’52”W

By CAR: From San José, take Route 27 west toward the Pacific Coast. Take the turnoff heading south for Jacó onto the Costanera Sur Highway (Route 34) and continue past Quepos and Dominical. Alternatively, you could drive from San José to Dominical via Cerro de la Muerte and San Isidro del General (Pérez Zeledón).

From Dominical, continue south on the Costanera Sur Highway until you reach the Hotel entrance at Km 169; there is a bus station on the left-hand side of the road (7 km south of Uvita).

By AIR: There are daily flights from San José to Quepos by NatureAir (www.natureair.com) and Sansa Airlines (www.flysansa.com). Flight time: about 30 minutes. We would be glad to arrange transport for you from the airport.
