2018 On the occasion of the appointment of Cambados as European Wine City 2017, the Council provides a tourist package which includes a Rías Baixas D.O. Winery visit, where you will be able to enjoy two Albariño wines and to be part of an unique experience that will enable you to be the main character of this memorable enoturistic experience. You can choose to visit the Wine Museum, the first wine museum of Galicia. It tell us the history of the Albariño wine as well as its tradition and wine making culture. At the end of the visit, it will be a tasting with a sparkling wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas. Another option is the guided tour to the shellfish sectors of Cambados, organized by GUIMATUR (Cultural Association of Sea Women of Cambados). You will be able to see the handmade work of the cultivation and harvest of shellfish, while feeling intensely the sea Finally, in the Manolo Paz Foundation you will have the chance to appreciate outdoors the work of the sculptor who gives the foundation its name, in a contemporary art atmosphere.
