Highs for 2009

• Raised total monetary contribution to the football.

• Continued involvement in community projects enhancing the name and reputation of AFC Telford Utd.

•

In addition to trust activities, board members contribute their time for club activities ranging from match day

duties to projects with club directors designed to further the future growth of AFC Telford Utd. I.e. GoaldenGate Lottery, sales of old programmes, Armed Forces Day etc.

• Trust membership now exceeds 700 members. Soon to exceed 750!





More Highs for 2009!

•2nd Community Beer Festival in May and in association with Telford Lions.

•Inaugural Charity Ball in May and in association with Friends of Princess Royal Hospital.

•2nd Christmas Raffle – Draw to be held on Boxing Day home match. Last year’s raffle was an outstanding success with over 400books sold.

•TUS Annual Golf Day held at the ‘The Shropshire’ - Muxton

•Keeping The Dream Alive – Newsletter on club web-site kept majority of members updated with TUS activities.





Even more highs for 2009!

• 2nd ‘Hall of Fame’ took place and the club celebrated its 5th Birthdaywith a party.

• Quiz Evenings – Next one scheduled here at the Learning Centre forSunday 6th December (7pm -7.30pm start!).

• Fully functional database – priority still on e-mail communication toreduce costs. 474 of current membership we now communicate withvia e-mail as evidenced with the papers for this AGM’s being issuedelectronically to those who could receive them via internet.

• Junior Bucks Board – 86 Junior Bucks members to date. Establishedtheir own board identity ‘Young Bucks Team’ – Currently re-inventingwhat they want – watch out for further announcements.





• Inaugural Sponsored Walk – Covered the Hutchinson Way.

• Then there was that book!

Lows for 2009

•Did not perhaps raise enough the importance, within our own fan base, for the purpose of TUS. I.e. not enough people thought it important enough to stand forelection to the Trust Board and thereby ensure an election at this AGM!

•Not enough volunteers to help with events to maximize the opportunities. I.e collectors for Goalden Gate Lottery

•Membership growth from within fan base still not beyond 50% of average attendances

Continue to work with club on evolving the IT package that ismutually beneficial. I.e TUS membership and season ticketrenewals at same time and combined within one document.
