LO QUE TENGO QUE SABER DE ESTE TEMA

1) Comprender el concepto de calor como transferencia de energía térmica entre dos cuerpos en desequilibrio térmico y no como algo contenido en ellos.

2) Relacionar la temperatura con el movimiento térmico o con la energía cinética media de las partículas y desechar la idea errónea de que la temperatura es una medida del calor.

3) Conocer las escalas Celsius y Kelvin de temperatura y la relación entre ambas.

4) Comprender el proceso físico en el que se fundamenta el funcionamiento del termómetro.

5) Conocer las principales unidades de medida del calor.6) Distinguir las formas de transmisión del calor.

1- STATES OF MATTER

La Teoría cinética de las partículas nos dice:•La materia está formada por átomos.•Los átomos están en continuo movimiento.

There are four main states of matter. Solids, liquids, gases and plasmas. Each state has different properties..

Matter is compound by very small particles called atoms. We cannot see atoms without a microscope. Atoms are all the time moving but we cannot notice it.

We call termal energy the kinetic energy of a group of atoms. The more atoms move, move kinetic and termal energy they have.

La temperatura es la medida de la energía térmica de un cuerpo, es decir, es la medida del movimiento de los átomos que forma el cuerpo.

Contraction is the decrease in volume which occurs when a system loses termal energy.

Se debe tener en cuenta lo siguiente:

El aire caliente pesa menor que el frío, por lo que se eleva sobre el frio.Diferentes materiales aislan de manera distinta, según su conductividad térmica.Aislar bien térmicamente nuestros hogares hace que ahorremos energía y por tanto en la factura de la luz.
