    Weather conditions continued unfavorable during Februa-ry1942 when 37 f l i g h t s (338.2 hours) were made on 15 dzys ofope rati ons. Twenty-eight ve ss el s were esc orte d during th e month.Several photographic and one c a l ib ra t i on f l i g h t were made bySquadron ELEVEN airships during February. On 18 February, t h eK-11 ma.de a n in ve nt or y of mig rato ry waterfowl; a U.S. Game Mamge-ment agent was aboard during t h i s f l i g h t which follovred t h e coa st-l i n e from North River, .hfassachuset ts t o th e Cape Cod Canal. .

    - V?ith impr.oving weather, Squadron ELEVEN'S number of f l i g h t sduring March 1942 increased to 96 . Operations, however, wererout ine except for two MAD con tac t s by t h e K - 1 4 and K-38 on 14March; at te mp ts t o develop th es e co nt ac ts , however, were unsuccess-fu l . A t o t a l of 337 vessels were escor ted during t h e month.
