necesidades inmediatas (p.36).
Contenidos de la guía
En esta guía te proporcionamos lo siguiente:
a) cuadros explicativos donde te exponemos la información a partir de ejemplos claros;
el vocabulario; te mostramos cómo resolverlas con ejemplos en rojo;
están marcados en azul);
d) un examen extraordinario tipo;
avance e identifiques tus dudas, y

Grammar and Vocabulary (gramática y vocabulario)
Reading (comprensión escrita o lectura)
Listening (comprensión auditiva)
Writing and Use of English (producción escrita y uso de inglés)

Existen tres formas para expresar el apellido: family name, surname or last name.
El orden para indicar una dirección es: 1. Número de la casa 2. Nombre de la calle. Especificar si
es… calle: Street – St.; avenida: Avenue – Ave.; camino: Road – Rd.; andador: Drive – Dr., etc. 3.

en My mother is an actress.

The boy's ball (one boy)
The boys' ball (two or more boys)
Singular owner / possessor
The teacher's notebook.
This is John's coat.

Those are the doctor's pens.
Where is Ram's telephone?
Plural owner / possessor

What's these lawyers' company?
This is the girls' favorite song.
Irregular Plurals
With two names
Sólo agregamos 's al segundo nombre.
That's Jane and Harry's house. NOT That's Jane's and Harry's house
one ball more than one ball

watch the games on TV. My favorite food is Mexican. I'm very lucky because my brother works in a Mexican
restaurant, so I eat there when I visit my family. I study Italian in my free time because one day I want to live in
Italy.

Name Age Hobbies
Occupation
Favorite music band/movies, etc… Marital status
Nationality Address E-mail address Everyday activities
PRACTICE.
Now let's practice.
I. Write the correct questions and answer with your personal information.
50
Información
requerida Pregunta Ejemplo de respuesta
Name What's your name? My name is Luis. Age
Occupation
Nationality
Marital status

II. Read the following Facebook profile. Observa a continuación el perfil de Luis.
51
PRACTICE. It's your turn.

Brenda has long dark hair and green eyes. She's short, slim and very beautiful. Her favorite subject is
History and she's very good at it. She helps me with my homework, too. She's very smart. We both like

My family's not very big, but it's not small either! My grandfather's called James (we call him: Grandad),

father, Jonathan. Of course, we call them Mum and Dad! My dad has a brother, he's called Uncle Mike,
and he's married to Sarah, so she's our aunt and they've got a son, who's our cousin, Joseph. Um, I've got a
