Washburn Weekly Update
December 5th to 9th, 2016
Sra. Norma I. Colón Torres
diaria.

Important information
1. Final tests are not partial, they are final. This means they must include basic skills for each
subject covered in the semester. The structure of the final tests will be multiple choice and
critical thinking questions.
2. Reviews will include skills that will be measured in the test. Yet, those skills will not be
presented in the test using the same form or structure as in the reviews.
3. Try to avoid students being absent for the finals. Any reposition will only be allowed if it is
due to a justified cause.
4. The teachers will be busy in the afternoon grading tests, posting grades in the isiNet internet
portal, and preparing their end-of-semester paperwork.
Notas importantes

Bonjour Parents:
The students are really motivated with learning a third language. It is my
upmost recommendation that you listen to them as they practice.
Also, it is highly recommended that they have a dictionary of French-English so
they can look up for words on their own time and seek self-improvement.
In class assessments I have acknowledged that the students have been studying
and practicing at home. They have completed the work and have helped each
other to complete as well. Keep up the good work!
I have been having trouble with IsiNet. I am waiting for them to fix it so I can
put the grades of the students in the system.
Up until now every student is in good standard, but any doubts feel free to
schedule an appointment.
