Hi! My name is Ling, I am Chinese and live in the South of China in the state of Yunnan. I don't livein a big city, I live in a village. I am 13. Chinese is a very difficult language and I spend a lot of timelearning it. When I am at school I have five lessons a day. Our teacher is very strict. I like gettinggood marks. When my results are very good, I can wear a red scarf to show everybody in the villagethat I am a good pupil, but if my results are bad, my parents must go back to school and learn tohelp me. Parents are always busy and they hate going back to school so it is better to have goodmarks.
-Chinese is a very difficult language.
I can wear a red scarf [ when my results are very good.]
… But my parents must go to school if my results are bad.

-Always significa siempre.
TO BE : I'm not interested in romantic novels.
Is she a foreigner?
TO HAVE GOT : She's got three new kittens.
Have you got any friends in England?
CAN : I can't speak Russian.
Can the children stay in that room?
IS SHE Italian?
CAN THEY come to the party?
HAVE THEY GOT any free time today?
corta:
We ARE NOT (=AREN'T) from Greece.
You CANNOT (=CAN'T) smoke in restaurants.

EXCUSE ME! (Oiga, por favor, perdone...etc)
Muy probablemente se parará y nos dirá:
YES, SIR/MADAM, HOW CAN I HELP YOU? Bien!, eso lo entendemos ya.
Ahora podríamos decir algo como:
HOW CAN I GET TO...? (¿Cómo puedo llegar/ ir a ...? )
O tal vez:
IS THERE A BANK/ POST OFFICE... NEAR HERE, PLEASE?
EXCUSE ME y PLEASE. Esto esfundamental.
Ten claro a dónde quieres ir y dilo conclaridad y seguridad, con algo tan simplecomo:
EXCUSE ME! A BANK, PLEASE?

I'm sorry. Can you repeat, please? (Perdone, ¿puede repetir, por favor?)
I'm sorry. Can you speak slowly, please?
Siga todo recto Go straight ahead
Gire a la derecha/izquierda Turn right/left
en la esquina on the corner
Siga hasta el semáforo/ la plaza/
la rotonda
Go ahead until the traffic
lights/the square/the
