A quick introduction to the Erasmus Mundus program, focussing my experiance after completing the first year of EMDC (European Master in Distributed Computing) at IST, Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon. This presentation was prepared to compliment the introductory session held at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

Not necessarily related to your final year project.

Not even your job or your internship. Better to have related experience though.

Carefully choosing the programmes and the universities.

How do I prepare?

➢ GRE?➢ Generally, not required for EM master degrees.

➢ IELTS?➢ Find the right programs and courses.

Preparing!

Find the lecturers or employers who know you the best to write the recommendation.

Too abstract or vague letters provide no value.

Motivation Letters Be specific.
