New Placement Procedures

• Cut scores are based on internal analysis of past student achievement records and how students perform over time – this is our Local Growth Model

• Success is defined as a C or better• Given past achievement records, we know propensity

for success and changed our cut scores• We were able to move students up due to cut score

changes
