Adaptador de red

• Usar el adaptador de red solamente en es-pacios secos.

Instalación segura del aparato

Si traslada el aparato de un lugar frío a otro caliente, espere un tiempo antes de conec-tar el adaptador de red. El agua de conden-sación que así se forma podría dañar el apa-rato.Cuando el aparato haya alcanzado la tempe-ratura ambiental, se podrá poner en funcio-namiento sin ningún peligro.• Coloque la estación base sobre una super-

ficie firme y lisa.• Coloque la estación base de modo que

quede protegida contra caídas.• La estación base y/o el terminal móvil no

Mantenga la toma de corriente

accesible¡ADVERTENCIA!Componentes conductores de corrien-te. Existe peligro de descarga eléctrica.Observe las siguientes indicaciones:

• Conecte el adaptador de red siempre a to-mas de corriente con puesta a tierra de (100-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz) debidamente ins-taladas, fácilmente accesibles y cercanas al lugar de emplazamiento. La toma de co-rriente debe estar bien accesible en todo momento para poder desenchufar la clavi-ja sin problemas.

• Desconecte el aparato tirando de la clavi-ja, no tirando del cable. No doble o aplas-te el cable de red.

• En caso de desperfectos de la clavija, del cable de conexión o del aparato, o si han entrado líquidos o cuerpos extraños en el interior del aparato, desenchufe el aparato

inmediatamente.• No coloque nunca el terminal móvil sin la

tapa del compartimento de pilas en la es-tación base.

• Para evitar que alguien tropiece, no utilice cables de prolongación.

Tormenta/No utilizar

• En caso de ausencia prolongada o de tor-menta, desconecte el adaptador de red de la toma eléctrica y el cable del teléfono de la estación base.

• Si no piensa usarlo durante mucho tiem-po, retire sin falta el bloque de baterías del terminal móvil: evitará que las bate-rías derramen líquidos tóxicos. Las bate-rías que hayan derramado líquidos pue-den dañar el terminal móvil.

Manejo seguro de las baterías

Para el terminal móvil se necesita la batería NiMH suministrada.

ADVERTENCIALas pilas pueden contener sustan-cias inflamables. En caso de un ma-nejo inadecuado, las pilas pueden derramar líquidos tóxicos, calentar-se demasiado, inflamarse o hasta explotar, lo que puede causar daños en su aparato y su salud.Siga sin falta las siguientes indica-ciones:

• Mantenga las baterías alejadas de los ni-ños.

• No arroje las baterías al fuego, no las cor-tocircuite y no las abra.

• Al colocar las baterías tenga en cuenta su polaridad (+/–).

• Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante algún tiempo, extraiga las baterías.

• ¡Retire del aparato, sin falta, las baterías defectuosas! ¡Existe un alto peligro de de-rrame!

• Nunca exponga las baterías a un calor ex-cesivo, como radiación solar directa, fue-go o similares. Existe un alto peligro de derrame.

• Retire inmediatamente del aparato las ba-terías que derramen liquido. Limpie los contactos antes de introducir baterías nuevas. ¡Existe peligro de causticación por el líquido de las pilas!

• ¡Si se ha derramado líquido de la pila, evi-te ante todo que entre en contacto con la piel, los ojos y las mucosas! El líquido que sale de las baterías puede causar erupción cutánea. Si el líquido hubiera entrado en contacto con la piel, enjuague inmediata-mente las zonas afectadas con abundante agua limpia y acuda sin demora a un mé-dico.

No haga nunca reparaciones por

su cuenta¡ADVERTENCIA!Componentes conductores de corrien-te. Existe peligro de descarga eléctrica.Observe las siguientes indicaciones:

• Si el adaptador de red, el cable de cone-xión o la estación base presentan daños, desconecte sin falta el adaptador de red de la toma eléctrica.

• No intente en ningún caso abrir y/o arre-glar usted mismo los aparatos.

• En caso de mal funcionamiento del apa-rato, diríjase al Medion Service Center o a otro taller especializado.

• El cable de conexión del adaptador de red no puede sustituirse. Si el cable está dete-riorado, para evitar riesgos, el adaptador de red debe eliminarse debidamente y cam-biarse por otro del mismo tipo. En este caso diríjase al Medion Service Center.

Conectar la estación base al

teléfono y a la corriente

Conecte la clavija jack del adaptador de red S004LV0600045 suministrado en la clavija posterior. La clavija está marcada con un símbolo de en-chufe .

Coloque el cable también en la guía de cable correspondiente.

Introduzca la clavija de red del adaptador de red en un enchufe.

Introduzca la otra clavija del cable telefónico en la toma telefónica que hay en la pared.

Introducir las bateríasPara el terminal móvil se suministran dos baterías de níquel-hidruro metálico "AAA" de 600 mAh.

¡NOTA!En los terminales móviles utilice exclu-sivamente baterías de níquel-hidruro metálico del tipo suministrado (NiMH;

1,2 V; 600 mAh).La garantía del aparato pierde su validez si se in-troducen otras baterías. Los terminales móviles podrían dañarse.Empuje hacia abajo la tapa del compartimento para las baterías en la parte trasera del terminal móvil.

Coloque las dos baterías en el compartimen-to, teniendo en cuenta su respectiva polaridad

Cargar las baterías del terminal

la estación base. Una señal acústica avisa de que el terminal móvil está correctamente co-locado en el cargador. El icono animado de carga de la batería indica el proceso de carga en la pantalla del terminal móvil.

¡NOTA!El tiempo de carga es de aprox. 16 horas.No interrumpa la operación de carga; ya que la potencia de la batería puede sufrir una merma permanente.

Puesta en funcionamiento ¡NOTA!Puede dejar el terminal móvil permanen-temente en el cargador. Así se puede es-tar seguro de mantenerel nivel de carga máximo. La autonomía de las baterías es de 10 horas en conversación o 100 horas en es-pera. A continuación se deben volver a cargar las baterías.Si el nivel de carga de la batería es bajo, el indicador de la batería aparece vacío y se emite una señal acústica de adverten-cia.

Navegue con hasta la entrada FECHA y confirme con la tecla MENU.

DD/MM/AA: Día/Mes/Año; MM/DD/AA: Mes/Día/Año.

Registrar terminales móviles

Registrar terminales móviles¡NOTA!El terminal móvil suministrado de fábrica ya está registrado con el nombre de "Me-dion 1".

Registre en la estación base un terminal móvil DECT apto para GAP.

Pulse la tecla MENU. Confirme el menú REGISTRO con MENU. Seleccione Base 1 si quiere registrar el ter-

minal móvil como segundo terminal de una base ya en funcionamiento y confirme pulsan-do MENU .

Puede registrar los terminales móviles en has-ta 4 bases distintas. Seleccione el número de la estación base en la que quiere registrar el terminal móvil.

Introduzca el PIN del sistema (0000) y confir-me con MENU.

Pulse la tecla de paging de la estación base durante unos 10 segundos hasta que se oigan señales acústicas.

También existe la posibilidad de registrar otros teléfonos DECT-GAP en la estación base. Con-sulte el manual de instrucciones del fabricante correspondiente.

¡NOTA!Mientras registra otro terminal móvil, el proceso de registro para ESTA estación base será el mismo.Si registra distintos terminales móviles de distintos fabricantes en una estación base no se puede garantizar, aún siendo de estándar GAP, el perfecto y comple-to funcionamiento de todos los termina-les móviles.

Seleccionar baseCuando haya registrado un terminal móvil en va-rias estaciones base (máx. 4 estaciones base) po-drá seleccionar fácilmente del menú la base que desee.

Pulse la tecla MENU. Confirme el menú CONF.AUR con MENU. Confirme el menú EL. BASE con MENU.

terminal. Detrás de las estaciones base en las que el ter-

minal móvil ya está registrado aparece el sím-bolo *.

En cuanto el terminal móvil esté conectado con la nueva base, aparece BASE SEL en la pantalla.

móvilSi el terminal móvil no está colocado en la esta-ción base se puede apagar.

Para apagar el terminal móvil mantenga pul-sada la tecla de auricular (roja) durante unos segundos.

Para volver a encender el terminal móvil, mantenga pulsada la tecla de auricular (roja). Un momento más tarde vuelve a apare-cer la indicación estándar en la pantalla.

También se puede encender el terminal móvil colocándolo en la estación base.

Bloqueo de teclas

Para evitar marcar las teclas por error puede ac-tivar el bloqueo de teclas. Esto no es posible du-rante una conversación.

Mantenga pulsada la tecla de asterisco * has-ta que en la pantalla del terminal móvil apa-rezca .

Para desactivar el bloqueo de teclas mantenga pulsada la tecla de asterisco * hasta que se apa-gue en la pantalla del terminal móvil.

Localización del terminal móvil

Si llama el terminal móvil desde la estación base o si quiere buscar el terminal móvil, pul-se la tecla de llamada durante unos 10 s en el teléfono base hasta que se escuche una se-ñal acústica.

Interrumpa la señal de llamada con la tecla de auricular .

Levante el auricular o presione la tecla de lla-mada .

Introduzca con el teclado numérico el núme-ro de teléfono. El número de teléfono puede tener hasta 20 dígitos.

Para activar la función de manos libres proceda como sigue:

Pulse la tecla de llamada rápidamente dos veces seguidas.

Introduzca con el teclado numérico el núme-ro de teléfono.

Pulse nuevamente la tecla de llamada para desactivar la función de manos libres.

Si se ha equivocado en un número puede bo-rrarlo con la tecla de retroceso .

Marcar desde la rellamada

Se guardan los últimos 5 números marcados (ver también „Rellamada“ en la página 45).

Pulse la tecla para seleccionar el último nú-mero marcado desde el terminal móvil.

Navegue con el por los últimos números marcados y pulse la tecla de llamada para llamar al numero elegido.

Marcar desde la lista de llamadas

Se pueden memorizar hasta 10 llamadas entran-tes en la lista de llamadas (ver también „Lista de llamadas“ en la página 46).

Para abrir la lista de llamadas, pulse la tecla . Navegue con el por las entradas de la

lista de llamadas y pulse la tecla de llamada para llamar al registro seleccionado.

Marcar un número de la agenda

Para memorizar entradas en la agenda (ver tam-bién „La agenda“ en la página 49).

Pulse la tecla MENU. Con seleccione DIRECT. y confirme con

la tecla MENU. Se abre la agenda y se muestra el primer nú-

mero.

A los contactos que están registrados en la agen-da puede asignarles un número de marcación rá-pida en los números del 2 hasta el 9 (ver tam-bién „Marcación rápida“ en la página 53).

Para marcar uno de estos números de teléfo-no mantenga pulsada la tecla numérica hasta que aparezca el número en la pantalla. No tiene que pulsar la tecla de llamada.

Seleccionar tecla de selección rápida

En las teclas de selección rápida M1 hasta M3 del teléfono puede guardar un número en cada una (ver también „Teclas de selección rápida M1 has-ta M3 en el terminal móvil“ en la página 54).

Para marcar este número solo tiene que pul-sar la tecla de selección rápida.

Aceptar llamadas

Cuando reciba una llamada entrante sonará la melodía que haya ajustado y el LED de llamada parpadeará.

Levante el auricular para aceptar la llamada. Para ello en el menú CONF.AUR/ CONT AUT del terminal móvil deberá estar activada la función CONT AUT.

Amplificador

El aparato es compatible con audífonos, por lo que puede utilizar la "Función de amplificador" (para amplificar el volumen ajustado).Si a pesar del audífono no puede oír bien al in-terlocutor, proceda de la siguiente manera:

Pulse la tecla de amplificador otra vez para desactivar el amplificador.

El LED de amplificador se ilumina en rojo en el momento en el que el amplificador esté activa-do.

Hablar con manos libres

Contestador automáticoCon el contestador puede grabar las llamadas entrantes o grabar un recordatorio. En total se pueden grabar mensajes de hasta 15 minutos.El contestador automático añade automática-mente a todos los mensajes la fecha y la hora. Por tanto, deberá ajustar la fecha y la hora para poder hacer un uso correcto del contestador (ver „Ajustar la hora y la fecha“ en la página 32). Puede controlar el contestador automático con la estación base, con el terminal móvil y desde una conexión externa.

Tiempo de grabación

Se puede ajustar la duración del mensaje que se puede grabar en el contestador automático. Se han predefinido 60 segundos.

Seleccione TPO.GRAB. Seleccione 60S, 120S, 180S o ILIMIT y

confirme con MENU. ILIMIT. significa 15 minutos de tiempo de grabación como máxi-mo.

Tono de llamada

Ajuste aquí el tono de llamada que desea para su terminal móvil.

Confirme CFG TIMB con MENU. INTERNA: Seleccione el tono de llamada

para conversaciones internas. EXTERNA: Seleccione el tono de llamada

para conversaciones externas. VOLUMEN: Seleccione el volumen para el

tono de llamada.

Tonos

Seleccione aquí el registro del tono para adaptar-lo al audífono.

Confirme CONF.TON con MENU. TONO TECL.: Active o desactive el sonido

para las teclas. BAT. BAJA: Seleccione el tono de aviso cuan-

do la batería esté casi vacía. SIN SEÑAL: Seleccione el tono de aviso si aban-

Tipo de marcación

Aquí puede adaptar su teléfono al tipo de mar-cación de su operador de red. Puede elegir entre marcación por tonos o por pulsos. La configura-ción de fábrica es “Marcación por tonos”. Éste es hoy en día el tipo de marcación más emplea-do.En caso de algunos equipos telefónicos más anti-guos se necesitará la marcación por pulsos.Consulte a su operador de red qué tipo de mar-cación es necesario en su conexión.

Confirme NUMERICA con MENU. TONO: Seleccione este ajuste para la marca-

ción por tonos. PULSO: Seleccione este ajuste para la marca-

ción por pulsos.

Tiempo de flash

Con esta función puede adaptar su teléfono a las especificaciones de su operador de red o su centralita particular. Puede ajustar el tiempo de flash en los siguientes niveles: LARGO, MEDIO o CORTO.

Los equipos telefónicos más antiguos típicamente suelen necesitar MEDIO.

PIN del sistema

Determinados ajustes solo se pueden modificar después de haber introducido el PIN (número de identificación personal). De fábrica viene ajustado el PIN „0000“.

¡NOTA!Aquí puede introducir el PIN de cua-tro cifras que desee. Rogamos que ob-serve que el PIN del sistema se necesita también para restablecer el sistema (Re-set). El PIN del sistema no se restablece a como estaba originalmente. Así que, apúntese bien el nuevo PIN del sistema y guárdelo en un lugar seguro. En caso de que hubiera olvidado el nuevo PIN del sistema, diríjase a nuestro servicio pos-venta.

Full-ECO

La función Full-ECO anula totalmente la capaci-dad de emisión en modo standby. La función Fu-ll-ECO solo es posible cuando el terminal móvil está en la estación base.Así puede activar/desactivar la función:

Setting up the device safely

Ensure accessibility of mains

power socketWARNING!Live components. There is a risk of electrical shock.Please observe the following instruc-tions:

• Only connect the mains adapt-er to an easily accessible and correct-ly installed earthed power socket (100–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz) that is close to the place where you have set up the device. Always keep the socket free of obstruc-tions so that the plug can be pulled out easily.

• When disconnecting the device from the mains supply, always pull on the plug rather than on the cable. Do not kink or crush the mains cable.

• If the plug, power cable or the device is damaged or if liquids or foreign bodies

Handling the rechargeable

batteries safely

You will need to use the supplied NiMH re-chargeable battery for the handset.

WARNINGBatteries may contain combustible materials. If not handled correctly, batteries can leak, become very hot, ignite or even explode, which could damage your device and/or your health.Please observe the following instruc-tions:

• Keep children away from batteries.• Do not throw rechargeable batteries into a

fire, do not short-circuit them and do not dismantle them.

• Please pay attention to the polarity (+/–) when inserting the batteries.

• Remove the batteries if the device is not going to be used for long periods.

• Remove defective batteries from the de-vice immediately! There is an increased risk of leakage!

• Never expose the batteries to excessive heat such as direct sunlight, fire or similar. There is an increased risk of leakage.

• In the event of leakage, remove the batter-ies from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before inserting new batteries. There is a risk of chemical burns from bat-tery acid!

• If battery acid has leaked out, it is essen-tial to avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Leaked battery fluid can cause skin irritations. If the acid does come into contact with skin, imme-diately rinse the affected areas with plen-ty of clear water and consult a doctor im-mediately.

Changing the earpiece volume

To change the volume during a call, proceed as follows:

During the call, press the - or + keys or the buttons to reduce or increase the ear-piece volume.

The volume level appears on the display. Five lev-els are available.When the call is ended, the level that was set will be applied.

Amplifier

As your telephone is compatible with hearing aids, you also have the option of using the “Am-plifier function” (to increase the set volume).If you are unable to hear your caller properly de-spite using your hearing aid, proceed as follows:

Recording time

You can set how long the message on the an-swering machine may be. The default value is 60 seconds.

The PIN is a password and is used to prevent strangers from accessing your answering ma-chine using the remote enquiry function. When you activate remote enquiry, you will be re-quired to enter the PIN and will have the oppor-tunity to change it.

Dialling mode

Here you can set your telephone to the dialling mode of your network operator. You can choose between tone dialling and pulse dialling. The factory setting is “tone dialling”. That is the most commonly used dialling mode nowadays.Pulse dialling may be necessary for some older telephone systems.Ask your network operator which dialling mode is required for your connection.

Confirm DIAL MODE with MENU. TONE DIAL: Select this setting for tone dial-

ling. PULSE: Select this setting for pulse dialling.

Flash time

Here you can set your telephone in accordance with the specifications of your network operator or your PABX. You can set the flash times in the following stages: LONG, MEDIUM or SHORT.

System PIN

Certain settings can only be changed after you have entered the PIN (personal password). The fac-tory default PIN is preset to “0000”.

HINWEIS!Die Ladezeit beträgt ca. 16 Stunden.Unterbrechen Sie den Ladevorgang nicht, da sonst die Leistung der Akkus dauerhaft verringert werden kann.

Melden Sie ein GAP fähiges DECT Mobilteil an der Basisstation an.

Drücken Sie die Taste MENU. Bestätigen Sie das Menü ANMELDEN mit MENU.

Wählen Sie Basis 1, wenn Sie das Mobilteil als zweites Mobilteil an einer bereits laufenden Basis anmelden wollen und bestätigen mit MENU .

HINWEIS!Wenn Sie mit einem nahezu entladenem Akku telefonieren, hören Sie während des Telefonates jede Minute einen Dop-pel-Warnton.Beenden Sie das Gespräch, stellen Sie das Handgerät auf die Basisstation und lassen Sie den Akku aufladen.

Anruf entgegennehmen

Bei einem eingehenden Anruf ertönt der einge-stellte Klingelton und die Anruf LED fängt an zu blinken.

Rufnummernanzeige

Sie können im Display die Rufnummer eines An-rufers sehen, wenn Sie selbst bei Ihrem Telefo-nanbieter die CLIP-Funktion beauftragt haben und der Anrufer ebenfalls über einen Telefonan-schluss mit CLIP-Funktion verfügt und er seine Rufnummer nicht unterdrückt.Wenn der Anrufer im Telefonbuch gespeichert ist, sehen Sie den Namen des Anrufers.

Rufton ausschalten

AnrufbeantworterMit dem Anrufbeantworter können Sie einge-hende Anrufe aufzeichnen oder ein Memo auf-nehmen. Insgesamt können Nachrichten bis zu 15 Minuten Länge aufgenommen werden.Der Anrufbeantworter fügt jeder Nachricht au-tomatisch das Datum und die Uhrzeit hinzu. Da-her müssen Sie Datum und Uhrzeit einstellen, um den Anrufbeantworter richtig nutzen zu kön-nen (siehe „Zeit und Datum einstellen“ auf Sei-te 32). Sie können den Anrufbeantworter mit der Basis-station, mit dem Mobilteil und von einem exter-nen Anschluss aus steuern.

Wählen Sie A. ZEIT. Wählen Sie 60S, 120S, 180S oder UNBE-

GR und bestätigen Sie mit MENU. „UN-BEGR“ bedeutet maximal 15 Minuten Auf-nahmezeit.

Kompression

Um den Speicherplatz des Anrufbeantworters optimal zu nutzen, können Sie die Kompression der gespeicherten Nachrichten ändern. Hierbei gilt, je niedriger die Kompression, desto mehr Speicherplatz wird benötigt.Wählen Sie KOMPRES..Wählen Sie HOCH, MITTEL oder NIEDRIG und bestätigen Sie mit MENU.

Sie können die Lautstärke der Klingeltöne an der Basisstation einstellen.

Bestätigen Sie RT. LAUT mit MENU.Stellen Sie die gewünschte Lautstärke ein.

Mobilteil abmelden

Sie können alle Mobilteile, bis auf das zuletzt ge-nutzte abmelden. Das Mobilteil, mit dem die Ab-meldungen durchgeführt wurden, kann nicht abgemeldet werden.

Bestätigen Sie MT ABM mit MENU. Geben Sie die System PIN ein und bestätigen

mit MENÜ .

Wahlverfahren

Hier können Sie Ihr Telefon an das Wahlverfah-ren Ihres Netzbetreibers anpassen. Sie können zwischen Tonwahl und Impulswahl auswählen. Die Werkseinstellung ist „Tonwahl“. Dies ist das heutzutage gebräuchliche Wahlverfahren.Die Impulswahl kann bei einigen älteren Telefon-anlagen notwendig sein.Erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrem Netzbetreiber, wel-ches Wahlverfahren an Ihrem Anschluss erforder-lich ist.

Bestätigen Sie WAHLVER mit MENU. TONWAHL: Wählen Sie diese Einstellung für

das Tonwahlverfahren. IMPULS: Wählen Sie diese Einstellung für das

Impulswahlverfahren.

Flash-Zeit

Hier können Sie Ihr Telefon an die Vorgaben Ih-res Netzbetreibers oder Ihrer Nebenstellenanlage anpassen. Sie können die Flash-Zeit in folgenden Stufen einstellen: LANG, MITTEL oder KURZ.

System-PIN

Bestimmte Einstellungen können nur verändert werden, nachdem Sie die PIN (persönliches Kenn-wort) eingegeben haben. Werkseitig ist die PIN „0000“ voreingestellt.

HINWEIS!Hier können Sie selbst eine beliebige vierstellige PIN vorgeben. Bitte beach-ten Sie, dass die System-PIN auch für das Rücksetzen (Reset) benötigt wird. Die System-PIN selbst wird nicht in den Lieferzustand zurückgesetzt. Notieren Sie sich also eine neue System-PIN und he-ben Sie sie an einem sicheren Ort auf. Wenn Sie die neue System-PIN dennoch vergessen haben sollten, wenden Sie sich bitte an unseren Kundendienst.

Die Funktion ECO Mode ermöglicht einen strah-lungsarmen Betrieb während eines Gesprächs. Die Strahlungsreduzierung hängt von der Entfer-nung des Mobilteils zur Basis ab. So schalten Sie die Funktion ein/aus:

Full-ECO

Die Funktion Full-ECO führt zur vollständigen Abschaltung der Sendeleistung im Standby-Be-trieb. Full-ECO ist nur möglich, wenn das Mobil-teil in der Basisstation eingesetzt ist.So schalten Sie die Funktion ein/aus:

Wählen Sie im Menü BS EINST den Eintrag FULL ECO und bestätigen mit MENU.

Schalten Sie mit den Tasten oder die Funktion ein oder aus.


Manueller ECO Mode

Mit diesem Modus wird die Sendeleistung der Basisstation um 50% reduziert. Prüfen Sie mit der Empfangsanzeige eines Mo-bilteils, ob die Sendeleistung ausreichend ist und passen Sie sie ggf. an. So schalten Sie die Funktion ein/aus:
