RESUMEN Un objeto que aparece en las imágenes de un nuevo telescopio llevará a una joven astrónoma y sus colegas a un sorprendente descubrimiento.

SINOPSIS Un nuevo telescopio se dedica a hacer fotos de gran campo,del cielo, a modo de una lente gran angular. Está elaborando un survey astronómico,una cartografía tridimensional que averigua las posiciones y distancias de los objetos que salen en sus imágenes; desde asteroides y planetas menores de nuestro sistema solar, estrellas de nuestra galaxia hasta millones de galaxias lejanas. Una joven astrónoma encuentra un extraño objeto en una serie de imágenes del telescopio que conducen a un inesperado descubrimiento.

NOTAS DE DIRECCIÓN Por primera vez una película se ha filmado en un nuevo observatorio real en funcionamiento. La historia, con un 95% de base científica,y que incluye una muy breve presentación del survey de galaxias J-PAS,nos llevará a pensar sobre las consecuencias de un extraordinario descubrimiento. El film está dedicado al astrofísico Stephen Hawking, que en un reciente comentario dió su visión personal sobre el tema que trata esta película en su parte final. LOG LINE An object that appears in a series of recent telescope images will drive a young astronomer and her colleages to a shocking discovery.

SYNOPSIS A new astronomical survey takes wide angle pictures to make a tridimensional cartography of the sky. It will find out position and distances to far galaxies, stars in our Galaxy and objects of the Solar System like minor planets and asteroids. A young astronomer discovers a strange object in a series of pictures from the survey which shows a curious behaviour. And it'll bring unexpected results when reviwed with her coleages...

DIRECTOR'S NOTES For the first time, a film has been shot in a new, real , working observatory. 95% of the storyline is hard science, including a brief outreach section for the forthcoming J-PAS galaxy survey, with a final twist that introduces the audience to the consecuences of an extraordinary discovery. The film is dedicated to astrophysicist Stephen Hawking due one of his famous recent comments is related to the end of the story.But we will let the audience decide...

RESUME Un objet qui apparait dans une série d’images récentes d’un télescope conduira une jeune astronome et ses collègues vers une découverte surprenante.

SYNOPSIS Un nouveau telescope réalise des photos grand angle du ciel, pour faire une cartographie tridimensionnelle du ciel. Il mesurera la position et la distance d’objets lointains, de galaxies, d’étoiles dans notre galaxie et d’objets du système solaire comme des planètes naines et des astéroïdes. Une jeune astronome découvre, dans une série d’image du relevé, un étrange objet qui a un comportement curieux, dont l’examination avec ses collègues conduira à des résultats inattendus.

NOTE DE LA DIRECTION Pour la première fois, un film a été tourné dans un nouvel observatoire fonctionnel et a été développé avec l’aide d’astronomes professionnels. L’histoire est basée à 95% sur des bases scientifique, vulgarise brièvement le relevé de galaxies J-PAS, et possède un rebondissement final qui sensibilise l’audience à propos des conséquences d’une découverte extraordinaire. Le film est dédié à l’astrophysicien Stephen Hawking du fait de l’une de ses récentes déclarations, qui est liée avec la fin de l’histoire. Mais je laisserai l’audience en juger…
