Salvador Gómez, artista plástico, vive y trabaja en Alicante (España). Licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones individuales y colecti-vas.

Primer premio del Premio Nacional de Pintura de Cooperativa Eléctrica Crevillente, junto a otras menciones y premios.

Sus obras se encuentran en colecciones como la del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante [MACA], el Museo de Bellas Artes Gravina [MUBAG], la Col·lecció Salmaia d’Art Contemporani y otras colecciones particulares de Europa, Egipto y EEUU.

Ha realizado numerosos workshops y cursos en España y Egipto. Enseñó Historia del Arte y Pintura en la Universidad de Alicante en el CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange).

He has conducted numerous workshops and courses in Spain and Egypt. He taught Art History and Painting in the University of Alicante at the Council on International Educational Exchange [CIEE].

Esta publicación, muestra una selección de trabajos, que van desde su obra más significativa, como son los retratos, a sus últimos trabajos usando un lenguaje más cercano a la calle, al Street Art.Los retratos están realizados en óleo sobre lienzo, y en formatos hasta de 100 x 100 cm.Estos últimos años ha empezado a usar plantillas y espráis para realizar versiones de obras anteriores, y hablar en un leguaje absolutamente actual. Al principio estampaba las obras en muros en la calle. Pero su intención ahora es acercar este lenguaje al coleccionista, al aficionado al arte, para que pueda poseerlo y exponerlo en su propia casa. Es por ello que la mayoría de sus obras están realizadas sobre lienzo.

This publication shows a selection of works, ranging from his most important works, such as portraits, to his latest works using a more present street language.The portraits are done in oil on canvas, and in formats up to 40 x 40 inches. In recent years he has begun to use stencils and sprays to make versions of his previous works, and speak in an absolutely current language. At first the works were stamped on street walls. But his intention now is to bring this language to the collector, the art enthusiast, so he can possess and show it in his own home. That is why most of his works are made on canvas.
