PRESENT PERFECT VS SIMPLE PAST• The present perfect is used when the time period has

NOT finished:• I have seen three movies this week.

(This week has not finished yet.)

• The simple past is used when the time period HAS

finished:• I saw three movies last week.

(Last week has finished.)

• The present perfect is used when the time is notspecific:

• I have seen that movie already.(We don't know when.)

• The simple past is used when the time is clear:

• I saw that movie on Thursday.(We know exactly when.)

We use Present Perfect with verbs in Past Participle

And the verb HAVE AND HAS( Ha, He, Han, Hemos)

1.- I have played soccer for 5 years.

( Yo he jugado futbol por 5 años)

2.- You have studied accountant since 2007

(Tú has estudiado contabilidad desde el año 2007)

3.- We have listened to the teacher several times

Nosotros/ Nosotras hemos escuchado a la profesoravarias veces.
