LAS POSADAS

Posadas means “inn”

It’s 9 days before Christmas

Go to houses and asks to come in to their house and then they say “No Shelter” or “No Posadas”

Go to a friendly house “Come in, Come in” and they will celebrate

FIESTAIt is called a celebration

In Fiesta they have fun and they have Piñata,

Inside the Piñata, there are small toys, candies and chocolates.

To play the Piñata you have to wear a blindfold then you need to turn around 3 times and hit the piñata.

FIREWORKSAfter the piñata they will have fireworks, lights in the sky.

CHURCHAt midnight, 12:00am they go to church to pray.

They light candles and it is very quiet.

FOODAfter church, they eat a lot of food.

They prepare different kinds of food for Christmas or Feliz Navidad.

3 KINGS DAYThey celebrate 3 Kings Day

It is on January 6
