QUE ES UN SISTEMA

Un sistema es un objeto formado por un conjunto departes entre las que se establece alguna forma derelacin que las articula en la unidad que esprecisamente el sistema.

Un sistema se nos manifiesta como un aspecto de larealidad dotado de cierta complejidad precisamente por

estar formado por partes en interaccin. Esta interaccincoordina a las partes dotando al conjunto de una entidadpropia.

Un sistema, en este sentido, lo entendemos como unaunidad cuyos elementos interaccionan juntos, ya quecontinuamente se afectan unos a otros, de modo queoperan hacia una meta comn. Es algo que se percibe

como una identidad que lo distingue de lo que la rodea, yque es capaz de mantener esa identidad a lo largo deltiempo y bajo entornos cambiantes.

Por tanto, un sistema es un cierto aspecto de larealidad, el pensamiento sistmico contempla eltodo y las partes, as como de las conexiones entrelas partes, y estudia el todo para comprender laspartes, es lo opuesto al reduccionismo, es decir laidea de que algo es simplemente la suma de laspartes. Una serie de partes que no estn conectadosno es un sistema, es sencillamente un montn.

Para el enfoque sistmico, todas las partes de un sistema

mantienen una interaccin recproca y cada parte, porpequea que sea, puede influir en el comportamiento del

conjunto. Esto implica que la forma de actuar de un sistemano es predecible mediante el anlisis de sus partes por

separado, donde la estructura del sistema y no el esfuerzode las personas es lo que determina los resultados. Adems

sirve para adentrarse con una mayor profundidad en lacomprensin de la complejidad de un proceso y descubrir, si

es posible, la forma de mejorarlo. A nivel personal permiteguiarnos con ms eficiencia y nos ampla la visin para serms creativos y asertivos en el planteamiento y la solucinde problemas, lo cual lleva a una mejor funcionalidad de las

cosas
