All praise be to Allah, the Fashioner of the heavens and earth, Who appointed angels as His message bearers, having two, three, four wings. He adds to His creation whatever He pleases. Verily Allah has power over everything.

��سمي بصي ر �� ۰۰۷۵عAllah chooses Messengers from among angels and from among human beings (to convey His command). Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing.

Say to them, "Whoever is enemy to Gabriel, should understand that he has, by Allah's command, revealed to your heart the Qur'an which confirms what was revealed before it, and brings Guidance and glad tidings to the Believers. (If their enmity to Gabriel is due to this, let them understand that) whoever is enemy to Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, Gabriel and Michael, Allah is enemy to such disbelievers."

They claim that angels, who are Allah's chosen servants, are females. Did they witness how their body is constituted? Their testimony shall be written and they shall be called to account.

So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: “Allah has begotten.” They are liars!

The Reality

Numerous are the angels in the heavens; yet their intercession shall be of no avail, except in regard to those whom He grants the leave of intercession and whose plea He is pleased to accept. Those who do not believe in the Hereafter give angels the names of females, although they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth.

And on the Day when He will muster them all and will ask the angels: “Are they the ones who worshipped you?” They will reply: “Glory to You! You are our Protector, not they. Nay, they rather used to worship the jinn. Most of them believe in them.”

۰۰۱۹الحساب سريع الله فان الله بايتAllah Himself bears witness that there is no God but He; and likewise do the angels and the men possessed of knowledge bear witness in truth and justice that there is no God but He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. The true religion with Allah is Islam. The People of the Book adopted many different ways rather than follow the true way of Islam even after the knowledge of truth had reached them, and this merely to commit excesses against one another. Let him who refuses to follow the ordinances and directives of Allah know that Allah is swift in His reckoning.

The angels near-stationed to your Lord glorify Him night and day, and never grow weary.

} 50 - 49 { 16- سورة النحلموت و م8ا في االرض من دآبة و و لله يسجد ما في الس8

��الملىكة و هم ال يستكبرو ن فوقهم۰۰۴۹ يخافون ربهم م۰۰۵۰ا��نو يفعلون ما يؤمرو

All living creatures and all angels in the heavens and on the earth are in prostration before Allah; and never do they behave in arrogant defiance. They hold their Lord, Who is above them, in fear, and do as they are bidden. (Prostration)

The Messiah neither did disdain to be a servant of Allah nor do the angels who are stationed near to Him; and whoever disdains to serve Him, and waxes arrogant, Allah will certainly muster them all to Him.

The thunder celebrates His praise and holiness, and the angels, too, celebrate His praise for awe of Him. He hurls thunderbolts, striking with them whom He wills while they are engaged in disputation concerning Allah. He is Mighty in His contriving.

} 32 - 30 {41- سورة فصلتل عليهم تقاموا تتن88ز ان الذين ق88الوا ربن88ا الل88ه ثم اس88روا بالجنة التي كنتم الملىكة اال تخافوا و ال تحزنوا و ابش88

Those who say “Allah is our Lord” and then remain steadfast, upon them descend angels (and say): “Do not fear nor grieve, and receive good tidings of Paradise which you were promised. We are your companions in this world and in the Hereafter. There you shall have all that you desire and all what you will ask for. This is by way of hospitality from Him Who is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

و ١��ب قل88وبكم لتطمىن و لكم بشرى اال الله جعله ما و۰۰۱۲۶الحكيم العزيز الله عند من اال النصر ما

If you are steadfast and mindful of God, even though the enemy should suddenly fall upon you, your Lord will help you even with five thousand marked angels. Allah has reminded you of this only as a glad tiding to you and so as to let your hearts be at rest. Help can only come from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

} 44 - 41 { 33 - سورة األحزابا كثير� ايها الذين امنوا اذكروا الله ذكر� �� و سبحوه بك8رة�۰۰۴۱ي

رجكم من۰۰۴۲و اصيال� هو الذي يصلي عليكم و ملىكت8ه ليخ8ا١الظلمت الى النور تحيتهم۰۰۴۳ و ك88ان ب88المؤمنين رحيم�

ار١يوم يلقونه سلم ا كريم� ۰۰۴۴ و اعد لهم اجر�Believers, remember Allah much and glorify Him morning and evening. It is He Who lavishes His blessings on you and His angels invoke blessings on you that He may lead you out of darkness into light. He is Most Compassionate to the believers. On the Day they meet Him they will be greeted with: “Peace.” He has prepared for them a generous reward.

} 9 - 7 {40- سورة غافر الذين يحملون العرش و من حوله يسبحون بحمد ربهم و

تغفرو للذين امن8وا ��يؤمن8ون ب و يس8 عت ك8لر١�� ربن8ا وس8بيلك و ا فاغفر للذين تابوا و اتبعوا س88 حمة� و علم� شيء ر

ا ربن88ا و ادخلهم جنت ع88دن لتي۰۰۷قهم ع88ذاب الجحيميتهم لح من اب88اىهم و ازواجهم و ذر ١وع88دتهم و من ص88

The angels that bear the Throne and those that are around to extol your Lord's glory with His praise, they believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for the believers, saying: “Our Lord! You encompass everything with Your Mercy and Knowledge. So forgive those that repent and follow Your Path, and guard them against the chastisement of Hell. Our Lord, admit them to the everlasting Gardens You have promised them and those of their fathers and spouses and progeny that were righteous. Surely You alone are Most Mighty, Most Wise; and guard them against all ills. He whom You guard against ills on that Day, to him You have surely been Most Merciful. That is the great triumph.”

} 5 { 42- سورة الشورىموت يتفطرن من فوقهن و الملىكة يسبحون بحمد تكاد الس

��ربهم و يستغفرو لمن في االرض ي اال8 ان الله هو الغفور١حيم ۰۰۵الر

The heavens may well nigh rend asunder from above while the angels proclaim the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Lo, it is Allah, and He alone, Who is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

} 56 { 33 - سورة األحزابلون على النبي ايه88ا الذين امن88وا١ان الله و ملىكته يص88 �� ي

Those who adopted the way of disbelief and died as disbelievers, are accursed of Allah and of angels and of all mankind: they will remain accursed for ever.

} 12 - 10 {82 - سورة اإلنفطار��و ان عليكم لحفظي ا كاتبي۰۰۱۰ �� كرام� يعلم88ون م88ا۰۰۱۱

۰۰۱۲تفعلونAnd there are watchers over you; noble scribes, who know what you do.

} 18 - 16 { 50- سورة ق و نحنر١��و لقد خلقنا االنسان و نعلم ما توسوس ب نفسه

۰۰۱۸لديه رقيب عتيدSurely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. Moreover, there are two scribes, one each sitting on the right and the left, recording everything. He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand.

} 21 { 10 - سورة يونستهم اذا لهم مكر ف آء مس ي��و اذ اذقنا الناس رحمة� م بعد ضر �� ع ي

ا١اياتنا ان رسلنا يكتبون ما تمكرون١ قل الله اسرع مكر�۰۰۲۱

No sooner than We bestow mercy on a people after hardship has hit them than they begin to scheme against Our signs. Tell them: 'Allah is swifter in scheming. Our angels are recording all your intriguing.


Angels take souls at the time of death.

Successful believers are welcomed by the angels at the time of death.

} 80 {43 - سورة الزخرفهم و نجوىهم لنا١ام يحسبون انا ال نسمع سر بلى و رس8

۰۰۸۰لديهم يكتبونOr do they think that We do not hear their secret talks and their whispering counsels? Yes, indeed We do and Our messengers [i.e., angels) are with them, writing.

} 62 - 61 {6- سورة األنعامى اذا١��و هو القاهر فوق عباد و يرسل عليكم حفظة� ��* ح ي

ط8ون لنا و هم ال يفر ت8ه رس8 ۰۰۶۱جاء احدكم الموت توفا الى الله مولىهم الحق ثم رد� و هو اسرع١ اال له الحكم١ي

۰۰۶۲الحسبينAnd He alone holds sway over His servants and sets guardians over you till death approaches any of you and Our deputed angels take his soul, neglecting no part of their task. Then all are returned to Allah, their true protector. Behold, His is the judgement. He is the swiftest of those who take account.

11 - 10 { 32- سورة السجدة{

ا ءاذا ضللنا في االرض ءانا لفي خلق جديد و قال� بل هم١يلك الم8وت الذي۰۰۱۰بلقائ ربهم كفرون ىكم م قل يتوف

۰۰۱۱ا��وكل بكم ثم الى ربكم ترجعوThey say: “Shall we be created afresh after we have become lost in the earth?” Nay, the fact is that they deny that they will meet their Lord. Tell them: “The angel of death who has been set over you, will take your souls, and then you shall be brought back to your Lord.”


Disbelievers are insulted and beaten by the angels at the time of death.

۰۰۳۲ادخلوا الجنة بما كنتم تعملونThose whose souls the angels seize while they are in a state of purity, saying: "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise as a reward for your deeds."

} 93 {6- سورة األنعاما۔۔۔ ى اذ الظلمون في غمرت الموت و الملىكة باسط و لو ت� ي �� ي

ا انفسكمر١ايديهم اخرج� اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بم88ا١ي ��كنتم تقول888ون على الل888ه غي888ر الح888ق و كنتم عن ايت

��تستكبرو ۰۰۹۳If you could but see the wrongdoers in the agonies of death, and the angels stretching out their hands (saying): 'Yield up your souls! Today you will be recompensed with the chastisement of humiliation for the lie you spoke concerning Allah, and for you waxing proud against His signs.'

} 28 { 16- سورة النحلىهم الملىكة ظالم انفسهم لم ما١ي��الذين تتوف فالقوا الس

ء ى ان الله علي بما كنتم تعملون١كنا نعمل من سو �& ب ع �ل ۰۰ي۲۸

The same unbelievers who, when the angels seize them and cause them to die while they are engaged in wrong-doing, they will proffer their submission saying: "We were engaged in no evil." (The angels will answer them): "Surely Allah knows well all that you did".

Then how (will it be) when angels will take their souls at death and will carry them, striking their faces and backs? That is because they have followed a way that angered Allah, and have been averse to His good pleasure. So He reduced all their works to nought.

} 51 - 50 { 8 - سورة األنفالى اذ يت88وفى الذين كف88روا ��و ل88و ت ربون١ي الملىك88ة يض88

ريقر١وجوههم و ادبارهم وا ع8ذاب الح8 ذل8ك۰۰۵۰ و ذوق8م للعبي �-بما قدمت ايديكم و ان الله ليس بظال ۰۰۵۱

And if you could only see when the angels took away the souls of the unbelievers, striking them on their faces and backs, saying: 'Taste the torment of burning. This is your punishment for what your hands wrought. Allah is not unjust in the least to His creatures.'

} 37 { 7- سورة األعرافن افت88رى على الل88ه ك88ذب�ا او ك88ذب ب88ايت ١��فمن اظلم مم

ن الكتب ى اذا جاءتهم رسلنا١اولىك ينالهم نصيبهم م ��* ح يونهم ا اين ما كنتم تدعون من دون الله١يتوف قال� ق88الوا١ي

ى انفسهم انهم كانوا كفرين �لضلوا عنا و شهدوا ع ۰۰۳۷يWho is more unjust then he who invents a falsehood, ascribing it to Allah, or who rejects His revelation as false? Their full portion of God's Decree shall reach them, until Our deputed angels come to them to take their souls, and say: 'Where are the deities now, those whom you invoked besides Allah?' They will say: 'They are all gone away from us.' And they shall bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.


On the Day of Judgment

On that Day, a cloud will appear rending the sky and the angels will be sent down rank after rank.

} 23 - 21 { 89- سورة الفجر كال8 اذا دكت االرض دكا دك ا۰۰۲۱ي و جاء ربك و الملك صف

�. و جايء يومى بجهنم۰۰۲۲ر صف ان و١ذ يومىذ يت88ذكر االنس88۰۰۲۳انى له الذكرى

But no; when the earth is ground to powder, and when your Lord appears with rows upon rows of angels, and when Hell is brought near that Day. On that Day will man understand, but of what avail will that understanding be?

} 17 - 16 { 69- سورة الحاقةاهي88 ماء فهي يومىذ و ت الس88 ��و انشق ى۰۰۱۶ �لو المل88ك ع ي

۰۰۱۷ و يحمل عرش ربك فوقهم يومىذ ثمنية١ارجاىهاWhen the sky will be rent asunder, the grip holding it together having loosened on that Day, and the angels will stand on the sides, with eight of them bearing aloft the Throne of your Lord on that Day.

Keepers of the Paradise

The Day, when they will see the angels, will not be a day of rejoicing for the criminals ; they will cry out, "May Allah save us!"

} 103 { 21 - سورة األنبياءىهم الملىك8ة ه8ذا ي8ومكم١ال يحزنهم الفزع االكبر و تتلق

۰۰۱۰۳الذي كنتم توعدونThe Hour of the Great Terror shall not grieve them (the successful believers), and the angels shall receive them saying: "This is your Day which you had been promised."

} 75 { 39- سورة الزمر بحون بحم8د ول الع8رش يس8 ين من ح8 و ترى الملىكة حاف

ا�� و قضي بينهم بالحق و قيل الحمد لله رب العلمير١ربهم۰۰۷۵

You shall see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praise, and judgement will have been made among them with fairness, and it will be proclaimed: “All praise and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the whole Universe.”

} 73 { 39 - سورة الزمرا وا ربهم الى الجنة زم888ر� يق الذين اتق888 ى اذا١و س888 ��* ح ي

لم عليكم جاءوها و فتحت ابوابها و ق8ال لهم خزنته88ا س8۰۰۷۳طبتم فادخلوها خلدين

them: “Peace be upon you; you have done well. So enter. Herein you shall abide.”

} 24 - 23 { 13 - سورة الرعدلح من اب88اىهم و ازواجهم و جنت عدن يدخلونه و من ص88

ن ك8ل با يتهم و الملىكة يدخلون عليهم م �0ذر لم۰۰۲۳ر س8۰۰۲۴عليكم بما صبرتم فنعم عقبى الدار

The Ever-lasting Gardens which they shall enter and so shall the righteous from among their fathers, and their spouses, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate, and say: "Peace be upon you. You merit this reward for your steadfastness." How excellent is the ultimate abode!

} 6 { 66- سورة التحريم��ايها ا امن88وا الذين ي ق� كم ي ا اهليكم و انفس88 قودها و ن88ار�

ارة و الناس داد غالظ ملىك8ة عليها الحج8 ون ال ش8 يعص8۰۰۶يؤمرون ما يفعلون و امرهم ي م الله

Believers, guard yourselves and your kindred against a Fire whose fuel is human beings and stones, a Fire held in the charge of fierce and stern angels who never disobey what He has commanded them, and always do what they are bidden.

} 31 - 27 { 74- سورة المدثر لواح88ة ۰۰۲۸رتذر ال و تبقي ال ۰۰۲۷سقر ما ادرىك ي م و

حب ي جعلن88 ما و ۰۰۳۰عشر تسعة عليها ۰۰۲۹رللبشر اص88كفروا للذين فتنة� اال عدتهم جعلنا ما و ١ملىكة� اال النار

رض قلوبهم في الذين بهذا الله اراد ي ذ ما الكفرون و ماء من يه88دي و يشاء من الله يضل كذلك ١مثال� و ١يش88

It is important to believe in angels.

۰۰ا��للبش ذكرى اال هي ما و ١هو اال ربك جنود يعلم ما۳۱

And what do you know what Hell is? It spares nothing; it leaves nothing intact; it scorches (even) the skin. Over it are nineteen keepers. We have appointed none but angels as the keepers of the Fire, and We have not made their number but as a trial for the unbelievers so that those who have been endowed with the Book will be convinced and the believers' faith will increase, and neither those who have been endowed with the Book nor the believers will fall into any doubt. As for those in whose hearts there is a sickness as well as the unbelievers, they will say: “What did Allah aim at by this strange parable?” Thus does Allah let whomsoever He pleases to go astray, and directs whomsoever He pleases to the Right Way. And none knows the armies of your Lord but He. (And Hell has only been mentioned here) that people may take heed.

بقت سبق�۰۰۳ سبح� ا فالمدبر امر�۰۰۴ فالس *� ۰۰۵By those (angels) that pluck out from depths, and gently take it away; and by those that speedily glide along (the cosmos), and vie with the others (in carrying out their Lord's orders); and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands).

The Messenger has believed in the Guidance which has been sent down to him from his Lord, and those who believe in the Messenger have also sincerely accepted the same. They all believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books and Messengers. And they say, "We do not discriminate against any of His Messengers. We have heard the Message and submitted to it. Our Lord, we look up to You for forgiveness, and to You we shall all return."

It is no virtue that you turn your faces towards the east or the west, but virtue is that one should sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day and the Angels and the Book and the Prophets and, out of His love, spend of one's choice wealth for relatives and orphans, for the needy and the wayfarer, for beggars and for the ransom of slaves, and establish the Salat and pay the Zakat. And the virtuous are those who keep their pledges when they make them and show fortitude in hardships and adversity and in the struggle between the Truth and falsehood; such are the truthful people and such are the pious.

Believers! Believe in Allah and His Messenger and in the Book He has revealed to His Messenger, and in the Book He revealed before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, in His angels, in His Books, in His Messengers and in the Last Day, has indeed strayed far away.
