MEMEORIA TECNICA Y ANALISIS ESTRUCTURALES

La vulnerabilidad fsica de los componentes de agua potable pueden producirse por el diseo estructural inadecuado de los mismos. Las dimensiones, el tipo de material y el no apyo de la tecnologa al servicio de clculos estructurales por medio de mtodos aprpiados como los elementos finitos, el no apoyarse de estas ayudas acompaado de un analisi de una sola parte del componente que se desea anlizar y disear, se traduce en diseos defectuosos que se videncian con el paso de la edad de la infraestructura y por consiguiente su deterioro y eventual falla en sus elementos estructurales.

NORMA DE DISEO

Los diseos estructurales del presente elemento debe satisfacer los requisitos de diseo contenidos en la norma NSR 10 y apyandose en el documento ACI 318S-08. Centrndose en el capitulo C 23 TANQUES Y ESTRUCTURAS PARA INGENIERIA AMBIENTAL DE CONCRETO.

METODO DE DISEOLa estructura ha sido diseada de acuerdo a los mtodos de diseo por estados limtes de resistencia. En le primer mtodo, el refuerzo es calculado par aresistir las cargas de servicio multiplicads por factores de carga especificados en la norma NSR 10 y documentos de apoyo ACI 318, y las resistencias nominales calculadas multiplicadas por factores de reduccin de resistencia especificadas en la norma con el fin de controlar el agrietamiento y fisuracion.En el segundo mtodo, el esfuerzo de trabajo es resistido por el hormign.

1. MATERIALES

Las caractersticas del concreto y el acero de refuerzo se los asume con las siguientes caractersticas :Concreto : f`c = 210 Kg/cm Acero corrugado . 4200 Kg/cm

2. PLANTEAMIENTO , ANALISIS Y DISEO ESTUCTURAL

El calculo de muros y lozas se lo han hecho considerando las siguientes fuerzas:

Empuje activo del suelo, considerando una distribucin triangular, siendo cero en el borde superior del muro y el mximo obedeciendo a un factor de seguridad en el borde inferior.Para el calculo del empuje activo se asume un valor del angulo de friccion interna en el suelo de 28 grados y el peso especifico del suelo de 1.81 Ton/m, mayorando con un factor de seguridad con valor de 3El peso especifico del concreto de 2.4 Ton/m

El objetivo del anlisis es verificar si las estructuras necesitan o no el acero de refuerzo y cual es la capacidad resistente minima de la estructura e implementarle la cantidad de acero de refuerzo minima exigida por norma y al mismo tiempo que resista los esfuerzos a que la estructura ser sometida.

3. GEOMETRA DEL TANQUE Y CARACTERSTICAS GENERALES

Presenta las siguientes caractersticas : lado, ancho y altura libres.Lado 3.25 mtAncho 3.25 mtAltura 2.3 mtEspesor de muros = 25 cmEspesor de loza de fondo 25 cmEspesor de losa de cubierta 20 cmEl espesor del muro se ha asumido por el capitulo C23 C 14. 3. El espesor del muro no debe ser menor a 250 milimetros, y si estos superan una altura de 3 metros el espesor minimo ser de 300 milimetros. El espaciemiento del refuerzo de retracciion no debe exeder los 300 mm y el tamao minimo de barra ser No 4.De conformidad con la unidad 10.5.1 de ACI 318-08, el refuerzo mnimo en cualquier seccin sujeta a flexin ser igual a:

* La exposicin sanitaria normal se define como la exposicin a la retencin hermtica (estanca) de lquidos con pH > 5 o exposicin a soluciones sulfatadas de menos de 1 500 ppm. Las exposiciones sanitarias severas son aquellas condiciones en que se rebasan los lmites que definen la exposicin sanitaria normal.** Los valores de Z mencionados, se definen en el Reglamento ACI 318 y en estas Recomendaciones se expresan en kg/cm. La deduccin de las frmulas de control de agrietamiento estn contenidas en los Comentarios al Reglamento ACI 318R. (Vanse la ecuaciones 3-2-8 y 3-2-8.1 de nuestras Recomendaciones).*** Este valor de fs es mayor al permitido segn el artculo A.3.2 (b) de ACI-318-95, el cual considera un mximo de 1 680 kg/cm para acero con fy = 4200 kg/cm o mayor, as como para la malla de alambre soldado.Las varillas del # 7 al #11, con fy = 2 800 kg/cm, han sido suprimidas de la Norma ASTM A 615.

Cargas Ssmicas.La evaluacin de la carga ssmica se realiza a partir del mtodo anlisis Dinmico Modal Espectral. El espectro utilizado en el estudio es el dado por la NSR-10, con los parmetros sugeridos por el estudio de suelos (Ver Anexo Estudio Geotcnico). En resumen:

5. ANLISIS SSMICO

El diseo ssmico resistente de estructuras ambientales tienen muchos puntos de visa comunes con el diseo de estructuras para edificaciones, pero parte de dos premisas diferentes que hacen que deban enfocarse de forma diferentes algunos aspectos particulares del diseo ssmico resistente.a) En las estructuras ambientales la fisuracion afecta la estanqueidad y la vida til de la estructura a un punto que debe evitarse a toda costa.b) Las estructuras ambientales excepto las recreativas, son fundamentales para la recuperacin de la comunidad deespues de un siosmo.Las dos premisas anteriores afectan, por una parte, el uso de la disipacin de la energa como una forma aceptable de reducir las fuerzas ssmicas pero a costa de permitir a la estructura trbaje fuera del rqangoinelastico con una correspondientre fisuracion, y el ehco de permitir a la estructura entrar alguna vez al rango no lineal de respuesta de operatividad de la misma pudiendo cuestionar su operatividad.Por lo anterior la posibilidad de utilizar la fuerzas de diseo reducidas por un coeficiente de modificacin de respuesta R comparativamente alto, no es aconsejable y por ende a un detallado conducente de la disipacin de energa no es aconsejable, esta situacin la han tomado varias normas de diseo sismo resistente de estructuras ambientales pero a su vez no debe tomarse como licencia para no detallar adecuaamente la estructura ambiental y afectar su operacin.Del apndice a 1 del titulo a de la NSR 10 , tomamos los requisitos para este tipo de estructuras, para cumplir con una capacidad de disipacin de energa espacial minima.La presente estructura es un tanque semi enterrado por lo tanto la norma no nos exige cumplir con el analisi ssmico, pero al mismo tiempo debemos cumplir con un diseo estructural que resista un eventual sismo, por tanto se realiza el anlis siguiente:

6. RESULTADOS DEL ANLISIS

El diseo de se la estructura se la ha realizado por medio de el mtodo de los elementos finitos en el programa RAM ADVANSE versin 9.0 . Programado computacionalmente para calcular el campo de desplazamientos y, posteriormente, a travs de relaciones cinemticas y constitutivas las deformaciones y tensiones respectivamente, cuando se trata de un problema de mecnica de slidos deformables o ms generalmente un problema de mecnica de medios continuos. El mtodo de los elementos finitos es muy usado debido a su generalidad y a la facilidad de introducir dominios de clculo complejos (en dos o tres dimensiones)
