About the Company Founder:
Passant Saied, was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt of an Egyptian father and mother. She received her MBA from Edinburgh Business School, HWU in 2012. She graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2005 and has been working in the Information and Communication Technology Egyptian government since then. She is currently working as a Business Support Manager, handling different Entrepreneurship programs by supporting young professionals in starting-up their businesses and working with the government to improve the policies around businesses start-ups. She’s fond of sewing since a young age; she used to make and design clothes for her dolls. She went to many workshops in Cairo to learn oil painting and she has painted many canvas inspired by recognized abstract artists. She has exhibited her paintings in a well-known exhibition “Exaltnewart” in Milan, Italy”. Her passion of art in all its forms, especially dolls, drove her to establish her own company, Passant Art Factory in 2015 that is specialized in crafting handmade soft dolls, pillows, etc. This is the first of its kind in Egypt and she is meant to use young women to train and help in producing her products (handmade dolls, pillows)
