Desarrollo

Now that you have read and listened to the online chat between Maria and Irene, let´s get more familiar with the words and expressions they use to get to know each other. 

Carry out, one by one, the following activities:

Consult this interactive version of the chat to listen again to the pronunciation of each sentence, and to read their translation.

Experiment with words and conjugations in English by constructing sentences combining different subjects, verbs, prepositions and object.

Learn to distinguish word order in affirmative and interrogative sentences.

If there´s still some time left, carry out this activity, which will broaden your vocabulary in the area of social activities. 

Ahora que leíste y escuchaste el "chateo" en línea entre María e Irene, nos vamos a familiarizar un poco más con las palabras y expresiones que usan para conocerse más.  

Lleva a cabo, una por una. las siguientes actividades:

Consulta esta versión interactiva de la charla para escuchar de nuevo la pronunciación de cada oración y para ver su traducción.

Experimenta con las palabras y conjugaciones en inglés al construir oraciones combinando distintos sujetos, verbos, preposiciones y objetos.

Si aún te queda tiempo, haz esta actividad que ampliará tu vocabulario en el área de las actividades sociales.

You´ve learned a lot of new words and expressions today. Now... it´s time to put your new knowledge into practice!

To finish today´s session, carry out the following activities:

Chat with your neighbour in the same way as Irene and Maria. Remember the questions they asked, and if you were able to finish all the previous activities, try to use some of the words you learned in the last one.

Take your notebook and write your personal answer to Maria´s question "And you, what do you like?".

 

 

Has aprendido muchas palabras y expresiones hoy. Ahora... ¡es hora de llevar lo aprendido a la práctica!

Para terminar la sesión de hoy, lleva a cabo estas actividades:

Conversa de la misma manera que lo hicieron Irene y María. Recuerda las preguntas que hicieron, y si lograste terminar todas las actividades anteriores, trata de usar algunas de las nuevas palabras que aprendiste ahí.
