• AES 256 encryption - The Rijndael algorithm for encrypting database data

• Encryption is approved by the U.S. Government for use by NIST

• Hashes and salts user passwords using a randomly generated salt and the SHA512 hashing

algorithm

• Activity reports provide secret name, access time, username and the user’s host/IP address
